Watercolor Christmas Project Kit Alternate Card, Quilted Christmas, Christmas Quilt, Quilt Builder, Christmas Happiness, Alternate Card I

It's cooled off again today.  The high is only supposed to be 67.  It's sunny though with breezy winds which makes it feel even cooler.  There are actually frost warnings issued for us and North of us for tonight.  Ewwwwww...I'm not looking forward to the colder weather as it raises such havoc on my arthritis.

My share for today is an Alternate card that I designed using some elements from the Watercolor Christmas Project Kit and some of Stampin' Up's new Holiday products.  Let's take a look:

For the last 3 days, I've posted on my blog the Cards and my embellished Acetate Card Boxes that I made using Stampin' Up's new Watercolor Christmas Project Kit.  Today. I'm sharing an Alternate Card.

My Card Base is the Pool Party Watercolored Card Base from the Watercolor Christmas Project Kit.

Using the Garden Green Tree Pattern from SU's new Quilted Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, I trimmed out a 1-1/8" x 5-1/2" panel and adhered it about 3/4" above the bottom of my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using the leftover Real Red Die Cut Sheet from the Kit (what is leftover after removing the rectangle and banner die cuts), I trimmed out a Frame that was around one of the rectangle die cuts.

I trimmed out a panel of Whisper White Cardstock to measure 2-5/8" x 3-3/8" and adhered my Real Red Frame to the Whisper White Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's new Christmas Quilt Stamp Set, I stamped the word Peace in Basic Black Archival Ink towards the top of my Whisper White Panel as shown in the picture above.

Using the Multi Color Tree Pattern Paper from SU's Quilted Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, I fussy cut out 4 Trees and adhered them to my Frame with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's Christmas Quilt Stamp Set, I stamped the Tree Base in Real Red Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock, die cut it out with SU's coordinating Quilt Builder Framelits Dies and adhered it to my Frame with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I adhered one of the Trees from SU's new Stitched Felt Embellishments with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.  There are also Stars and Holly with Holly Berries in the Stitched Felt Embellishments.

I pulled one thread from a length of SU's new Jute Twine, tied it into a Bow and adhered it to the top of my Stitched Felt Tree with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Christmas Quilt Stamp Set, I stamped my Stars in Daffodil Delight Ink onto my Card Base as shown in the picture above.

For the inside of my Card:
Using SU's new Christmas Happiness Stamp Set, I stamped the large Pine Bough in Garden Green Ink onto a piece of scrap Whisper White Cardstock (for use at a later date) and then stamped it again without re-inking on the inside of my Card.

I stamped my Sentiment from Christmas Quilt Stamp Set in Basic Black Archival Ink onto a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock and two Stars onto the Sentiment in Daffodil Delight Ink.  I trimmed the Sentiment out to measure 1-3/8" x2-1/2".

I trimmed out a Real Red Cardstock panel to measure 1-5/8" x 2-3/4".  I adhered my Sentiment panel onto the Real Red Panel and then over the Pine Bough with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

That was a fun to make Card with some oh-so-fun new Stampin' Up Holiday products!!!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.  I'm off to go fishing!!!  =)
