Stampin' Up! A Sara Thing, One In A Melon Alternate Card - III

I'm starting to feel somewhat better.  I had a very relaxing weekend and even made it out on the pontoon and fished for 2 hours.  Normally, I can stay out all day; but, I didn't want to over do it.  And, yes!  I out fished my Hubby - Again!!!

You couldn't have asked for better weather this weekend.  Sunny and in the high 80's.  Just gorgeous!

Today, I'll be sharing my third alternate card that I designed using elements from SU's A Sara Thing and One In A Melon Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Let's take a look:

My Card Base is Crushed Curry Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding card.

My First Card Front Panel is Melon Mambo Cardstock cut at 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

For my Second Card Front Panel, I trimmed out a Panel of the Fruit Card Base from the One In A Melon Paper Pumpkin Kit to measure 3-3/8" x 4-5/8".

I trimmed out a piece of the Watermelon Rind Gift Bag from the One In A Melon Gift Bag to measure 1/2" x 3-3/8" and adhered it to the Second Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I cut a length of the Melon Mambo Baker's Twine and wrapped it around the top of the Second Card Front Panel leaving the ends free for now.  I adhered this Panel to my Card with  Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using one of the Round Tags from the One In A Melon Kit, I stamped the Watermelon Rind in Emerald Envy Ink and the Sweet Watermelon in Melon Mambo Ink.

Using A Sara Thing Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set I stamped the YOU on the top of the Round Tag and the ARE and the SO underneath each other in Basic Black Archival Ink.

Using SU's Layering Circles Framelits Dies, I die cut the 3" Scalloped Circle from Emerald Envy Cards.  Using my 1/8" Handheld Punch, I punched a hole in the top of the Scalloped Circle lining it up with the hole in the Round Tag.

I put the ends of the Baker's Twine through the holes in the Scalloped Circle and the Round Tag and tied the ends in a Bow.  Using my Paper Piercer Tool, I picked up a small Glue Dot and adhered it underneath the Tags behind the Bow to make it more secure.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Stampin' Up! One In A Melon Paper Pumpkin Alternate Card - II

Well, I still haven't sat done and made anything from all my new products yet!!!  I hope my energy returns soon!!!  =(

Today, I'll be sharing the second alternate card that I designed using elements from SU's One In A Melon Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Let's take a look:

My Card Base is Emerald Envy Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding card.

My First Card Front Panel is Crushed Curry Cardstock cut at 3-5/8" x 4-3/4" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

For my Second Card Front Panel, I trimmed out a piece of the Fruit Card Base from the One In A Melon Paper Pumpkin Kit to measure 3-1/2" x 4-5/8" and adhered it to the First Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I trimmed out a panel of Emerald Envy Cardstock to measure 1" x 4-1/4" and adhered it across the Center of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Layering Circle, I die cut the 3" Scalloped Circle from Melon Mambo Cardstock and adhered it to the Center of Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using one of the Round Tags from the One In A Melon Paper Pumpkin Kit, I stamped the Watermelon Rind and my Sentiment in Emerald Envy Ink and my Watermelon in Melon Mambo Ink.  (I should have re-inked my ink pads as I got a lighter covering in some areas).

I adhered my Tag to the Center of my Scalloped Melon Mambo Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using the Melon Mambo Baker's Twine from the Kit, I tied a Triple Bow and adhered it to the top of my Tag.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.
