Stampin' Up! Spooky Cat, Spooky Night

Another sunny and gorgeous day here in Michigan!  Please keep it coming!!!

My share for today is a Halloween Card using some of Stampin' Up's new Holiday Catalog products.

Let's take a look:

I think Stampin' Up really out-did themselves with their new Spooky Night Designer Series Paper.  You can punch out the Cats with the new Spooky Cat punch and die cut out the Pumpkins with the new Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies.  BIG fun!!!

My Card Base is Basic Black Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4" for a side folding Card.

My Card Front Panel is Old Olive Cardstock cut at 3-3/4" x 5".

Using SU's new Spooky Cat Stamp Set, I laid the two Detailed Stamps and the Happy Halloween Stamp up-side-down on my work surface and picked them up with my Acrylic Block.  I test stamped them on copy paper to make sure the 3 Stamps were lined up evenly and then stamped them towards the bottom of my Old Olive Card Front Panel.  I then adhered my Card Front Panel to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I decided on the Moon with the Tree pattern from the new Spooky Night Designer Series Paper.  You can get 16 of the Moon and Tree 3" x 3" Panels when cutting the paper in your trimmer.  That makes for some awesome Halloween Party 3" x 3" Cards.

After trimming out my 3" x 3" Moon and Tree Panel, I used SU's new Spooky Cat Stamp Set to Stamp my Owl with Smokey Slate Ink and the Owls' Beak and Talons with Pumpkin Pie Ink.

I fussy cut out one of the Hats from the Spooky Night DSP Hat Patterned Paper and adhered it to the Owls' Head with Stampin' Dimensionals.  So cute!!!

I adhered my Moon and Tree Panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I cut a length of SU's Black Mini Sequin Trim and tied a length of SU's Linen Thread around it and into a Bow as shown in the picture above.  I put a dot of Mono Multi Purpose Glue onto the corner of the Moon and Tree Panel and let it sit for a bit so the glue would set up some.  I then laid my Sequin and Linen Thread Bow onto the dot of glue to adhere it.

I don't normally make such clean and simple Cards; but, Stampin' Up just made it way too easy for me to do.  Fun, fun and fun!!!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.
