Just a note

just a note... 

Well, I made it back, again, from U of Michigan Hospital for my two year cerebral angiogram re-check of the aneurysm in the center back of my brain.  The procedure went well with a couple hiccups though.  My initial Neuro Surgeon had a family emergency so I had another Dr. who is a Neuro Interventional Radiologist and Instructor oversee the Neuro Team that consisted of Fellows/Residents and more.  (My initial Neuro Surgeon even operated on Matthew Stafford's-Quarterback for Detroit Lions at the time-Wife who had a brain tumor.)  He is so good and been at the UofM for a long time so I was a little apprehensive going in without him as the aneurysm is in such a critical spot.

The second hiccup for me was that they went through the artery in my hand (just below the thumb and pointer finger and, of course, I'm right handed) instead of going through the groin.  So...I can't use my right hand for 7-10 days which means that I can't do any paper crafting right now.  You don't know how much that saddens me; but, at least I'm home and alive, right!!!

My share for today is a Happy Easter Card that I designed using products from Stampin' Up!'s 2022 Mini Occasions Catalog, the NEW 2022 Mini Holiday Catalog and/or the NEW Stampin' Up! May 2022-April 2023 Annual Catalog, Sale-A-Braton Brochure and more.  Let's take a look:

I can never tire of Stampin' Up!'s beautiful Flowers in their Wonderful World Designer Series Paper shown in their Sale-A-Bration Brochure.   😃😃😃  I thought this Card would make a great Easter Card if though it's not Easter!!!

My Card Base is Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.

My Card Front Panel is the Rich Razzleberry/Diamond pattern from the Wonderful World DSP.

I trimmed out a Strip of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock and adhered it to the center of my Card.

I just LOVE my Card today...the colors ROCK and, of course, I LOVE any Flowers.

Using the Forever Flourishing Dies (A RETURNING FAVE), I die cut the Flower Sprig from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock and the Leaf Stem from Mossy Meadow Cardstock and adhered them to my Card as shown in the picture above.

I fussy cut out my Large Flower and (my Small Flower for the inside of my Card) and adhered the Large Flower to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using the Celebrating You Stamp Set, I stamped 'Happy Easter' in Rich Razzleberry Ink onto Basic White Cardstock.

Using the All That Dies, I die cut out my 'Happy Easter' with the Oval Die and the two Banners from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.

I adhered the Banners and Oval to my Card as shown in the picture above.

For the inside of my Card:

Using the Celebrating You Stamp Set, I stamped my Saying in Rich Razzleberry Ink onto a Panel of Basic White Cardstock.

I adhered my Small Flower next to my Saying and adhered the Panel to the inside of my Card.

I adhered six Milky White Heart Pearls to my Card as shown in the picture above.

My share for today is a Caroling Mice Christmas Card that my Niece, Amy, designed.  Amy used the RETIRED Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper for her background and the adorable Caroling Mice Stamp Set.  (I've chose alternate paper listed down farther in my post).  Anyways, I just had to share these adorable, darling, cute Mice Cards with all of you.  Let's take a look:

The Caroling Mice Stamp Set is a Host Set and has nine Cling Stamps.  Qualifying party orders earn Stampin' Rewards you can use toward free and discounted products or toward building a Starter Kit to become a new Stampin' UP! Demonstrator.

Hosts can earn Stampin' rewards based on order totals for an entire party, outside the party setting, Stampin' Rewards are available to those who place individual orders that meet the order totals shown on page 86 of the New Mini Holiday Catalog (also in the Annual Catalog).

The Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper is RETIRED; but, I will definitely be re-making Amy's Caroling Mice Card using the Silver & Gold 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper for my Background.  The Silver & Gold DSP is a FREE Sale-A-Bration product that you can choose with every $50 you spend (before tax and shipping).

I may also use the Spruced Up Bundle, Regal Reindeer Bundle or the Lights Aglow Suite in the Mini Holiday Catalog for my Trees. 

Amy colored her Caroling Mice with her Stampin' Blends in Smoky Slate, Gray Granite, Petal Pink, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Real Red, Balmy Blue,  and Flirty Flamingo.  She fussy cut out the Caroling Mice and adhered them to her Card.

Amy stamped the Lamppost directly onto the DSP and colored it with her Stampin' Blends in Basic Black, Real Red and Daffodil Delight.

For Amy's second Card:

She stamped the Mouse directly onto the DSP and colored the Mouse.

I can't wait to make my own Cards with the Caroling Mice!!!
