I had a really nice weekend. I got my Stampin' Up Holiday Catalog pre-order and got that all organized. Wowzers...SU just keeps getting better and better!!! I went fishing yesterday. We didn't get many fish; but, it was so nice to get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors. And, what a beautiful day it was.
I went back to the Surgeon and he gave me his blessings! I still have a large piece of the jawbone that broke off and is embedded in my gum so I have to keep a close watch for more swelling and infection. So far, so good! I lost 13 pounds; but, at least I can eat something other than mashed potato's, gravy and pasta now. My goal is a great BIG steak on the grill. Yum! I also still have insomnia since I went into the hospital. I just can't get enough sleep and it's really hindering me from getting things done as I'm so worn out. I just keep taking one day at a time and try not to let it all overwhelm me. Hopefully, sleep will come soon.
I also want to thank everyone with all my heart who sent Oakley a Birthday Card. For those who don't know, Oakley is a Boy here in Michigan that is terminally ill and he wants Birthday Cards from around the world for his birthday. If you would like to send him a Birthday Card, please send it to:

My share for today is a Thank You card for someone that is always doing something so kind for me. Let's take a look:
I LOVE this Toucan in SU's Good Vibes Stamp Set. He is just too cute!!! And, if you know me, I LOVE all animals, birds and the outdoors so I tend to use a lot of stamp sets that are nature related. The Good Vibes Stamp Set was so fun to sit down and color with my Stampin' Write Markers. So relaxing!
My Card Base is Melon Mambo Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding card.
My Card Front Panel is Shimmery White Cardstock cut at 3-1/4" x 4-5/8".
I stamped the Good Vibes stamp (it is one Large stamp) onto my Card Front Panel with Basic Black Archival Ink.
Using my Stampin' Write Markers, I colored all the Leaves with Pear Pizzazz, Emerald Envy, Garden Green and Old Olive and the Flowers with Bermuda Bay. I normally color one item once completely and then I go back and add my details like leaf veins, dots, shadows and flower centers. It's so easy to color or watercolor using SU's Shimmery White Cardstock.
That Toucan just makes me smile so BIG! He's just adorable! I colored him with my Stampin' Write Markers in Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red.
I used my Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker to color in the Hey, You!.
Using SU's Pop of Paradise Stamp Set, I stamped 2 Large Leaves in Garden Green, 1 Large Leaf in Pear Pizzazz (for the inside) and 1 Small Leaf in Garden Green. I fussy cut the Leaves out and adhered 2 Large Leaves with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and 1 Small Leaf with Stampin' Dimensionals to the upper left corner of my Card Base as shown in the picture above.
I adhered my Card Front Panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.
Using SU's Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set, I stamped the Flower Bud in Melon Mambo Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock, die cut it out with the coordinating Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies and adhered it to the Small Leaf with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the top tip of the Flower Bud only.
Using SU's All Things Thanks Stamp Set, I stamped the Thank You in Basic Black Archival Ink onto the Pear Pizzazz Large Leaf and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I stamped the You're The Best in Basic Black Archival Ink underneath the Large Leaf.
I adhered 3 Small Basic Jewel Rhinestones to the 3 Fan type Leaves to look like a few dew drops.
That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
