Stampin Up! A Little Wild, Little Loves, Lovely Friends, Lovely Laurels, A Sara Thing, Card with Pull-Out Lion Tag - I

Well, today is a bit of a better day for me!  I'm actually starting to fell like a normal person again after recovering for way too long!

As a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I did get to pre-order from the 2017 Holiday Catalog yesterday.  I can't believe that I'm going to be thinking about Fall, Halloween and Christmas already!  Yikes!!!

My share for today is a Card with a Pull-Out Lion Tag that I designed using Stampin' Up's A Little Wild and Lovely Friends Stamp Sets, Little Loves and Layering Circles Framelits and Lovely Laurels Thinlits Dies, Classic Label Punch and some of the new Embellishments and Elements.

Let's take a look:

I LOVE these Little Loves Tags!  So fun to Watercolor with an Aqua Painter or SU's Watercolor Pencils.

My Card Base is Cajun Craze Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a Top Folding Card.

My Card Front Panel is Crushed Curry Cardstock cut at 3-5/8" x 4-7/8".  Using SU's Layering Circles Framelits Dies, I die cut the 2-1/4" Scalloped Circle through both the Card Base and the Front Panel at the same time and running it through the BIG Shot Machine twice.

Using SU's Lovely Laurels Thinlits Dies, I die cut the two Laurel pieces from Old Olive Cardstock.

Using SU's Lovely Friends Stamp Set, I stamped the two different size Leaves randomly on the Laurel with Old Olive Ink.

I adhered the Front Panel to the Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals and created a little pocket with the Stampin' Dimensionals at the bottom of the Scalloped Circle for my Lion Tag to sit in.

I adhered the two Laurels to the top of the Scalloped Circle with Mono Multi Purpose Glue allowing the Laurels to drape freely around the Scalloped Circle.

I adhered some of SU's new Touches of Nature Wood Elements and some Metallic Circle Shapes randomly to the Laurels as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's new A Little Wild Stamp Set and a scrap piece of Cajun Craze Cardstock, I masked off the You from Wild About You Stamp, stamped it on the Cajun Craze Cardstock with VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my SU Heat Tool.

Using SU's Classic Label Punch, I punched out the Wild About.  I put the Label back in the punch from the underneath of the punch and punched both ends just a littler shorter.  I adhered the Label at the bottom of the Front Panel with SU's new Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.  Perfect for the Classic Label Punch!

Now, is he just the King of the Jungle or what!!!

Using SU's new Little Loves Stamp Set, I stamped the Lion on to SU's Shimmery White Cardstock with Basic Black Archival Ink.

Using my SU Aqua Painter, I watercolored the front and back of the Lion with Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze Inks.  I used my Black Stampin' Write Marker to color in the Lion's nose.

I tied a length of SU Crushed Curry Baker's on to the Tag.

For the inside of my Card,

Using SU's A Sara Thing Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set, I stamped the YOU in Versa Mark on a scrap piece of Cajun Craze Cardstock, Sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.

Using Little Loves Thinlits Dies, I die cut the YOU out using the back portion of the Lion die and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Lovely Friends Framelits Dies, I die cut out 3 of the Leaves from Old Olive Cardstock and adhered them around the Lion with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I adhered one Silver Metallic Circle to the top Leaves.

Above is a picture of the Lion tucked into its pocket.  I manipulated the Leaves around it to hold the Lion into the pocket a little more secure.  So, as you can see, one of the Laurel Leaves is on top of the Lion and one is behind the Lion on both sides of the Lion.

Above is a picture showing the back of the Lion when you open up the Card.

Above is a picture of the inside of the Card opened all the way up.

Above is a picture showing the Lion removed from the Card.

I then tied a Triple Bow to the top of the Wooden Element with Mono Multi Purpose Glue>

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.
