Hello Easter, Sweet Little Something - Easter Cards & Envelopes

And, another gorgeous day in Michigan.  The sun is shining full on and the high temperature is supposed to be in the upper 40's.  Great weather to do some yard work.

My share for today is the two Happy Easter Cards and Envelopes and Bunny Boxes that I made for my Great Niece and Nephew for Easter.  I shared these on my blog this week and I made Envelopes for my Cards.  Let's take a look:

I used Stampin' Up's Sweet Little Something Stamp Set to make the outside of my 3" x 6" Cards.

I used SU's Hello Easter Stamp Set to make the inside of my Cards.

I made my own Envelopes on the Envelope Punch Board:
 Card Size is 3" x 6"
 Cardstock (Paper) Size is 7-1/2" x 7-1/2"
 Score Line is 2-5/8"

I used both the Sweet Little Something and the Hello Easter Stamp Sets on my Envelopes.

And, the Easter Bunny Boxes that I made and showed on my blog this week too.

If I ever make a project like this again, I would make the Box in two pieces; the Box and with a removable Lid.  The Bow on the top of my flip lid box does let the lid open up far enough to get the candy in or out of the box.  So, I would make a removable lid and adhere the Bunny's head to the back of the lid.

I added Bows to the Bunny's using SU's Gold and Powder Pink Mini Tinsel Trim.

I also added 2 of each of SU's Glitter Enamel Dots on each Banner.

I'm so happy with the way this project turned out and I just know that my Great Niece and Nephew will LOVE them too!!!!

Just a note:  Sale-A-Bration is almost over with so if you want the free items while supplies last with your orders, you may want to order soon!!!

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!  Happy Easter and safe travels.

Blessings!

Lynn

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

Sweet Little Something Easter Cards

It lightly rained this morning with temperature's going into the 40's today.  The sun is starting to peek through now and then.  It's raining a lot more down South of us and they postponed the opening day for the Detroit Tigers Baseball Game until tomorrow.  Bummer!

My share for today is two Happy Easter Cards for my Great Niece and Nephew.  I just have to say it one more time; I'm not just a Good Aunt, I'm a Great Aunt!   😊😊😊   Let's take a look at my Cards:

Aren't these two little stuffed animal Bunny's just the cutest!  It would be a nice day to cuddle up with one and take a nap!  😊😊😊

I got my Stamparatus yesterday.  Yay!  The Stamparatus would have been so nice to use with the Sweet Little Something Stamp Set.  It would have made it so much easier to align the Bunny's as the stamp set is a 3 step stampin' process.  Although, I think I did o.k. stampin' the Bunny's by eyeballing them.

My Card Bases are So Saffron and Wisteria Wonder Cardstocks cut to measure 6" x 6" and scored and folded at 3" for a side opening card.

My Card Front Panels are So Saffron and Wisteria Wonder Cardstocks cut to measure 2-3/4" x 4-1/2".

Using SU's Sweet Little Something Stamp Set, I picked up the 3 Flower Stamps with my Acrylic Block and stamped them in So Saffron and Wisteria Wonder Inks on the top and bottom of my Card Bases.

Tip:  I stamped the Center set of Flowers first and then the two outside sets as it makes it easier to center the two outside sets.

I stamped my Bunny's onto my Card Front Panels by stampin':
The Least Detailed Image Bunny Stamp with Soft Suede Ink.
The Most Detailed Image Bunny Stamp with Crumb Cake Ink.
The Solid Bunny with Sahara Sand Ink.

When it comes to 3 Step Stamp Sets, I always try to stamp the Darkest Inks first with the Least Detailed Stamp Image.  Again, how nice it would have been to stamp the Bunny's using SU's new Stamparatus!!!

I cut lengths of SU's Powder Pink and Gold Mini Tinsel Trim and adhered the ends to the Back of my Card Front Panels with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and Tape.  I tied Bows and adhered them to the Trim with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered my Card Front Panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped Happy Easter in Soft Suede Ink onto Wisteria Wonder and So Saffron Cardstocks and punched them out using SU's Classic Label Punch.

I adhered my Labels to the bottom of my Card Front Panels with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered two of SU's Enamel Glitter Dots to each end of the Sentiment Labels.

I just LOVE how these two Cards turned out!!!

Just a note:  Sale-A-Bration is almost over with so if you want the free items while supplies last with your orders, you may want to order soon!!!

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!
