Stampin' Up! Year of Cheer, Cheers to the Year, Layering Ovals/Circles

Oh my gosh...it got cold here in Michigan last night.  It was 45 this morning and only expected to get to 67 today.  Brrrr....!  The weather person said cloudy with some sun; but, I haven't seen any sun yet!  Come on sun!

I needed a couple Wedding Cards so my share for today is a Wedding Card made with some new Stampin' Up products from the Holiday catalog.  Let's take a look:

My Card Base is the Dashed Circle Pattern from Stampin' Up's new Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4" for a side opening card.  The Year of Cheer Specialty Paper has Gold, Silver and Copper foil patterns.  Love!!!

Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut the 2-1/8" x 3" Oval in the front of my Card Base.

Using the same Oval die as above and the Largest Scalloped Oval, I die cut both at the same time from SU's Silver Foil to make my Silver Oval Frame.  I adhered the Oval Frame around the Oval in my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  I kept the Scalloped edge of the Oval Frame free of adhesive so I could tuck the ends of my Leaf Stems underneath.

I fussy cut 5 Stems from the Copper and White Leaf Stem Pattern in Stampin' Up's new Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper.  (Three for the outside of my Card and two for the inside.)  I adhered 3 of the Copper Leaf Stems under the Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

For the inside of my Card:
Using SU's Layering Circles Framelit Dies, I die cut the Largest Dashed Circle from SU's Year of Cheer Specialty DSP with the 2-5/8" Circle Die.  I adhered the Circle to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue so the Circle is centered within the Oval Frame when looking at the closed front of the Card.  (You can make light pencil marks for placement if you need too - they can be easily erased.)

Using SU's new Cheers to the Year Stamp Set, I stamped the Multiple Circles Stamp in VersaMark Ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock.  I sprinkled SU's Copper Embossing Powder over it and heat set it with my Heat Tool.  I then did the same with the Sentiment, punched it out with my SU 2" Circle Punch and adhered the Circle to the Dashed Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered the last two Copper Leaf Stems underneath the Sentiment Circle with Mono Multi Purpose Glue leaving the ends free of adhesive.

I adhered 3 (Small, Medium and Large) of SU's new Enamel Glitter Dots (White) as shown in the picture above.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.
