Watercolor Christmas Project Kit Quilted Christmas Add a Little Glitz Trim Your Stocking Seasonal Tags Alternate Card II

Today is pretty much the same as yesterday weather-wise.  We didn't get a the expected frost last night and have frost warnings again for tonight.  Our high is only supposed to be 67 and the winds just make it feel cooler.  It's supposed to warm up for the weekend though.  Maybe we can get another day of fishing in???  =)

Stampin' Up's new 2017 Holiday Catalog goes live today!  You can go to www.stampinup.com to view the new catalog on-line.  If you place a $300 or more order through September and October, Stampin' Up is giving you a free stamp set called Merry Patterns.  If you do decide to place any size order, please choose me, Lynn Gauthier, as your Demonstrator.

My share for today is another Alternate Card that I designed using elements from Stampin' Up's new Watercolor Christmas Project Kit.  Let's take a look:

My Card Base is the Emerald Envy Striped Pattern Card Base from Stampin' Up's new Watercolor Christmas Project Kit.

Using SU's Watercolor Christmas Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink onto the Pool Party Watercolored Pattern Card Base and trimmed it out to measure 2-5/8" x 4-1/4".

Using the leftover Whisper White Die Cut Sheet from the Kit (what is leftover after removing the rectangle die cuts), I trimmed out a Frame that was around one of the rectangle die cuts and adhered it to my Sentiment as shown in the picture above.  I then adhered the Frame to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using the Real Red Star Pattern Paper from SU's Quilted Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, I fussy cut out 2 of the Real Red Stars.

Using SU's new Trim Your Stocking Thinlits Dies, I die cut out 2 Snowflakes from Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's new Seasonal Tags Framelits Dies, I die cut out 2 of the Small Snowflakes from Emerald Envy Cardstock.

I adhered the Emerald Envy Snowflake to the Whisper White Snowflake with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and then to the Real Red Star with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered a folded length of SU's new Gold Mini Sequin Trim to the upper left corner of my Frame with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and then adhered my Star to my Card Base and Frame with Stampin' Dimensionals and Glue Dots as shown in the picture above.  I then adhered the second Star to the bottom right corner.

I pulled off 3 Sequins from the Gold Mini Sequin Trim and adhered them randomly to my Card as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's new Add a Little Glitz Stamp Set, I stamped my 2 Stars in Daffodil Delight Ink on the inside of my Card as shown in the picture above.

I then stamped my Sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink onto another piece of the Pool Party Watercolored Pattern Card Base and trimmed it out to measure 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" and adhered it to the inside of my Card partially over the Stars with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I brushed on Wink of Stella to the Stars and Dots in the stamped Stars and onto the word Sparkle to give them a 'Sparkle Glitz' shine.

I shared SU's new Watercolor Christmas Project Kit all week long on my blog.  There are so many opportunities with this kitAnd, most of all, what fun it is to put it all together and come up with alternate ways of using the kits' elements.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.
