Spooky Night, Paisleys & Posies, Large Letters, Layering Circles, Cookie Cutter Builder - Halloween MIni Cup & Holder

Happy Halloween!  I hope all of you have a safe and fun Trick or Treat day!

There were a few rain/show showers in the area this morning.  It's quite windy today which makes it seem colder and a high of 42.  Yikes!  Not sure that I can deal with snow yet.

My share for today is a Halloween Mini Cup and Holder:

When my Niece, Amy, was here last July, we talked about the Mini Cups that I had ordered and making a holder for them.  Amy found a pattern and here is the directions for hers which is smaller than the one I made that is pictured above.

Cardstock - cut at 2-1/2" x 11"
 Score at 3/4" - 3-1/4" - 4" - 6-1/2"
DSP 2-1/4" x 4-1/4"

But, I had to make mine a little different!

I made my Cup Holder Base from Cajun Craze Cardstock cut at 3" x 12".  This way, you can get 4 Cup Holders from one sheet of 12" x 12" Cardstock.

I scored my Cardstock at 3/4" - 3-1/2" - 4-1/4" - 7".

I used my SU 2" Circle Punch to punch a hole in the Base to set the cup in, folded the base into the holder and adhered it with SU's Tear & Tape Adhesive. (Save the 2" Circle for the top of your cup.)

Using the Striped pattern from SU's Spooky Night Designer Series Paper, I cut it to measure 2-5/8" x 3-7/8" and adhered it to the back of my Holder with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I used a scrap of the Striped patterned DSP that measures 1/2" x 2-5/8" and adhered it to the bottom portion of the base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Large Letters Framelits Dies, I die cut out the BOO from Basic Black Cardstock.  I brushed on some Wink of Stella to give it a glittery shine.  I also squeezed my Wink of Stella Brush to make some Polka Dots on the letters.

I tied a length of SU's 1/4" Natural/Silver Trim around the back of the Base and into a knot in the front.

I ordered the Mini Cups from Webstaurant.  The item numbers are listed below:

ITEM #: 999L4W DESC: Lid 4oz White                 QUAN: 100
ITEM #: 9994W   DESC: Cup 4oz Pap Hot White QUAN: 50

If you order them, note that the cups are a quantity of 50 and the lids are 100.

Using SU's Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set, I stamped the Dotted Paisley in Basic Black Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and die cut it out with the coordinating Paisleys Framelits Dies.

Using SU's Cookie Builder Punch, I punched 2 of the Large Circles from Very Vanilla Cardstock, 2 of the Small Circles from Basic Black Cardstock and the Bow Tie from the Striped Circle Pattern in Spooky Night DSP.

I adhered the Basic Black Circles to the Very Vanilla Circles and to my Ghost with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  I then applied SU's Fine Tip Glue Bottle Adhesive to both eyes and let it dry.

I adhered the Bow Tie to my Ghost with Mono Multi Purpose Glue in the center of the Bow Tie only.

I adhered one of SU's Enamel Glitter Circle Dots to the Hat and one to the Bow Tie.

I adhered the 2" Circle to the top of my cup with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I only put the Dimensionals in the indentation of the lid.

Using Layering Circles Framelits Dies, I die cut the 1-3/4" Scalloped Circle and adhered it on top of the 2" Circle with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Now don't laugh too hard, I took one of SU's White Mini Bow's and colored it with a black marker and adhered it to the top of my cup.  I do have some of the Black Bows in the BIG room upstairs; but, most of the stuff is boxed up due to re-modeling.  It really didn't take long to color the Bow though.  =)  And, I got most of the black marker on the Bow and not me!

I trimmed out some strips of DSP that were 1" x 3", adhered them around some Hershey Nuggets and put them in the cup for a treat!

I still have some Stampin' Up Promotions to share with you today too!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

Spooky Night, Spooky Cat, Pretty Kitty, Gourd Goodness, Painted Harvest, Seasonal Chums, Bouquet Bunch, Patterned Pumpkins, Layering Ovals, Leaf Punch

It's a little breezy out today with some scattered showers and peeks of the sun.  The high for today is only 45.

Well, we are almost done with the re-modeling of the BIG room off of our balcony upstairs.  We just need to pick out some carpet and have it installed.  What a chore that was and another chore will be moving things back into the room.

I'll be having another procedure done this week so I might be missing in action for a little bit.

My share for today is a sweet Halloween Card that I designed.  Let's take a look:

Isn't the Pretty Kitty so Sweet peeking out of that Pumpkin!!!

There is an awful lot to this card and it won't be a brief explanation; but, here goes:

My Card Base is Basic Back Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding Card.

My Card Front Panel is Very Vanilla Cardstock Stock at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".  I trimmed out a piece of the Circle Pattern from SU's Spooky Night Designers Series Paper to measure 3" x 3-7/8" and adhered it to the top of my Very Vanilla Card Front Panel.

I adhered a length of SU's 3/8" Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon around the splice and adhered it to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut out the largest Scalloped Oval from Basic Black Cardstock and 2 of the largest Ovals from Very Vanilla Cardstock (one for the inside of my card).  I adhered one fo the Very Vanilla Ovals to the Basic Black Scalloped Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Gourd Goodness Stamp Set, I stamped the Pumpkins in Pumpkin Pie Ink onto Peekaboo Peach Cardstock and fussy cut them out.  I fussy cut the Small Pumpkin off of the Large Pumpkin (the Small Pumpkin is for the inside of my Card).  I also stamped the tall Pumpkin Stem in Soft Suede Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock.

Using SU's Seasonal Chums Stamp Set, I stamped the Greeting onto the large Pumpkin in Basic Black Archival Ink.

Using SU's Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set, I stamped 3 of the Long Leaves in Old Olive Ink onto Old Olive Cardstock.

Using SU's Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies, I die cut out:
Two Leaf Stems from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
Two Fern Stems from Soft Suede Cardstock
The two stamped Long Leaves

Using SU's Painted Harvest Stamp Set, I stamped the two Detailed Leaf Stems in Old Olive Ink onto Old Olive Cardstock and punched them out with SU's Leaf Punch.

I stamped the Acorn in Soft Suede and Crumb Cake Inks and fussy cut it out.

Using SU's Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies, I die cut out one of the large Leaves and one short and one long Vine.

Using SU's Pretty Kitty Stamp Set, I stamped my Kitty in Basic Black Archival Ink and lightly watercolored it with the same ink and my Aqua Painter Brush.  I used my Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Marker to color in the Kitty's ears and nose and fussy cut the Kitty out.

I adhered the Oval panel to my Card Front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered the 3 Long Leaves to the bottom of the Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the Kitty to the top of my Pumpkin with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and then to the Oval with Stampin' Dimensionals.

All the rest of the die cuts were adhered with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I tied another short length of the Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon, tied it into a knot and adhered it next to the Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered 3 small Enamel Glitter Dots randomly to the foilage.

For the inside of my Card:
Using Spooky Cat Stamp Set, I stamped the Sentiment and Dashed Bar with Basic Black Archival Ink onto the second Oval and adhered the it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the Stem to the small Pumpkin and next to the Sentiment with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Again, there was a lot that went into this Card; but, oh-so-worth-it!!!

I still have some Stampin' Up Promotions to share with you today too! You only have today and tomorrow left for a couple of them.....
