My share for today is another Alternate Card that I designed using Stampin' Up's August 2017 Giftable Greetings Paper Pumpkin Kit. This kit is awesome and includes a fabulous stamp set with some great greetings stamps and a gift card box with a clear acetate lid that fits 8 cards and envelopes. I shared the Cards and Gift Card Box on my blog last week.
Let's take a look at my Alternate Card:
I chose the Peekaboo Peach Card Base from the Giftable Greetings Paper Pumpkin kit for my Card Base.
I trimmed off the two striped ends of the Calypso Coral Card Base to measure 1" each. (Save one Panel for the inside of the Card.)
Using Stampin' Up's Lift Me Up Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog, I stamped Happy Birthday onto the Calypso Coral Panel with the Night of Navy Classic Ink Spot that came with the kit.
I wrapped a length of the Night of Navy Baker's Twine that came with the kit around one end of the Panel 3 times and tied it into a Bow.
I adhered the Panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.
I stamped two of the Pool Party Flower Die Cuts with the Half Flower Stamp in Night of Navy Ink. I adhered one of the Flowers above and under the Calypso Coral Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue in the Center of the Flower only. I adhered the second Pool Party Flower below and under the Calypso Coral Panel with 3 Mini Stampin' Dimensionals in the Center of the Flower only. (The two Leaf Veins are already pre-printed on the Card Base for you.)
I stamped the Flower Center on 3 of the Small Peekaboo Peach/Calypso Coral Flower Die Cuts in the Night of Navy Ink. I adhered one to the top Pool Party Flower and under the Calypso Coral Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. I adhered the second Small Flower to the bottom Pool Party Flower and over the top of the Calypso Coral Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. (Save the third Small Flower for the inside of the Card.)
Using SU's new Painted Harvest Stamp Set, I stamped the Detailed Leaves Stamp 4 times onto scraps of Old Olive Cardstock and punched them out with Stampin' Up's new Leaf Punch. I adhered the Leaves under the top Pool Party Flower and two under the bottom Flower with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the stems of the Leaves only as shown in the picture above.
I then took the little Flower Center Stamp and stamped it in Night of Navy Ink randomly around the Leaves as shown in the picture above.
I stamped the Half Flower Stamp onto one of the Peekaboo Peach Flower Die Cuts from the kit and cut the Flower in half.
Using Lift Me Up Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment and the two Leaf Veins in Night of Navy Ink onto the second Calypso Coral Panel. I adhered the Panel to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the ends only.
I adhered the two Flower halves above and below and slightly underneath the Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the cut end and center of the Flower only.
I cut the last Small Flower in half and adhered it to the Flowers with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered one of the Small Leaf Stickers in the center of the Leaf Veins as shown in the picture above.
I'm having a total blast with this kit!!!
That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
