Spooky Night, Festive Phrases - Pick Your Potion Tags - Alternate Projects - III

Phew...another warm, humid day outside today.  We are supposed to hit 93 degrees and break some more high temperature records again today for this time of year.  The record high temperature was 89 degrees set back in 1941.  Needless to say, I turned the air conditioning back on.

I wanted to share with you how I used my Pick Your Potion Halloween Gift Tags that I shared on my blog this week so my share for today is two Gift Bags and a Gift Jar full of Candy Corn.  Let's take a look:

I chose the Witch Hat pattern from SU's Spooky Night Designer Series Paper and made another Gift Bag on the Gift Bag Punch Board.  My DSP was cut at 9-3/4" Width x 7" Height and made as per the instructions for a Small Gift Bag on the Board.  This time, I used the Reverse Hole Punch at the top of the Board to make the holes at the top of the Gift Bag so I could thread a length of SU's new Jute Twine through the holes and tie it into a Bow.

I then cut a length of SU's Basic Black Baker's Twine and thread it through the back of the  knot in the Ribbon at the top of my Pick Your Potion Halloween Gift Tag, under and around my Jute Twine Bow and tied it into a knot.

For this Gift Bag from my personal stash, I cut a length of Basic Black Baker's Twine, tied it around one leg on one of SU's Gold Binder Clips, through the back of the Ribbon on the Tag and tied it into a Bow.

You can always make a plain Gift Bag or Gift Box more festive too by stamping some Leaf Stems or another Halloween stamp on the Gift Bag or Gift Box itself.  It's fun and it's like making your own Designer Series Paper only it's on a Gift Bag or Gift Box.  And, you can also add a DSP or Plain Banner to hang behind the Tag and bling it up with some of SU's Mini Sequin Trim's.

And, of course, my FAVE as it has candy in it!!!  =)  My Niece, Amy, gave me 12 of these fluted glass bowls years and years ago.  I've used a few over the years; but, I still have some left.  I just bet Amy would like a couple of these bowls back after seeing mine embellished and filled with Candy Corn.  =)  I'm here for ya' Sweet Pea!!!  =)  Thank you again for the Bowls!

I cut a length of SU's new Peekaboo Peach 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding, wrapped it underneath the lip of the Bowl and tied it into a knot.  I cut another length of the Seam Binding, tied it into a triple Bow and adhered it to the knot on the Seam Binding on the Bowl with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional.

I thread a length of SU's Linen Thread behind the Ribbon on my Tag, under the Bow and Seam Binding on the Bowl and tied it into a knot.  Stinkin' cute!!!  Needles to say again, some of the Candy Corn is MIA!!!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.
