Stampin' Up! Be Merry Project Kit - Around the World, Merry Music, Merry Mistletoe, Card Front Builder, Layering Circles, - Alternate Cards - I

Another beautiful day here in Michigan.  A gorgeous day to finish up a little more yard work that I started yesterday.

My share for today is four 3" x 3" Alternate Cards that I made using some of the elements from Stampin' Up's Be Merry Project Kit and some elements from my personal stash.

Stampin' Up's Be Merry Project Kit makes for some festive rosettes that you can hang on your tree or a wreath or you can use as gift tags and/or on the top of Christmas presents.  They are also darling to hang on the front of gift bags and gift boxes.  The kit makes 12 ornaments, 6 each of 2 designs.  I shared the rosettes with you on yesterdays blog post.

Let's take a look at my Be Merry Project Kit Alternate Cards:

My Card Bases are Whisper White (2) and Pool Party Cardstock (2) cut at 3" x 6" and scored and folded at 3" for side opening cards.

My Card Front Panels are from Stampin' Up's new Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper and Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper cut at 2-5/8" x 2-5/8" and adhered to my Card Bases with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered one of the Gold Foil Doilies from the kit to my Card Front Panels with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered 2 each of the Shimmery Green or Red Tulle Circles from the kit to my Doily with Mono Multi Purpose Glue placed strategically behind where I knew that I would put my Tree so that the glue would not show.

I adhered the leftover Tree Die Cuts to my Tulle Circles with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and adhered a Gold Star Enamel Dot from my personal stash to the top of each tree.

I adhered the Merry Die Cut from the kit to my Tree with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's new Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies, I die cut out 4 Deer from Soft Suede Cardstock and 4 of the Holly Leaves from Old Olive Cardstock.  (Holly Leaves are for the inside of the Cards.)

I adhered the Deer next to my Tree with small pieces of Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.  (I cut a sliver of the Mini Stampin' Dimensional to place behind the Deers' front legs, two halves behind the Deer's body and left the head free of adhesive.

For the inside of my Cards:
Using SU's new Merry Mistletoe Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment two times in Real Red Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and two times in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Pool Party Cardstock.

Using SU's Layering Circles Framelits Dies, I die cut out my Sentiments with the 2-1/8" Circle Die.

I adhered the Whisper White Sentiment Circles to the inside of the Pool Party Cards and the Pool Party Circles to the inside of the White Cards with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered my Holly Leaves to the Circle with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using my 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch, I punched out the Holly Berries from the leftover Real Red Glimmer Paper from the kit and adhered 3 Holly Berries to each Holly Leaves with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I tied Whisper White Baker's Twine from my personal stash around the Pool Party Cards and Pool Party Baker's Twine from my personal stash around the Whisper White Cards and tied them into a Bow.

Fun, fun and fun!  That Shimmery Tulle is so pretty!!!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
