Spooky Cat, Spooky Night, Festive Phrases, Detailed Gate, Trim Your Stockings - Pick Your Potion Tag/Treat Holder - II

It's hot and humid today with a chance of an isolated thunder storm this afternoon or evening.  We may even break some record high temperatures today and through the weekend.  It's nice to still have some warm weather for the first week of Fall.

My share for today is a Tag Holder that I designed for the three Halloween Tags that I designed using new Stampin' Up products from the Holiday Catalog.  I shared how to make the Tags on my blog yesterday.

Let's take a look at my Halloween Tag Holder:

My Tag Holder turned out exactly how I envisioned it and I'm really happy with it.  You can even put a mini Hershey Bar or some type of candy in them.  I can't wait to design some Christmas Tags and Holders too!

Pictured above are the 3 Halloween Tags that I shared on my blog yesterday and are inside the Tag Holder.

Using SU's new Trim Your Stockings Thinlits Die's, I die cut out the Pocket Die twice from the Basic Black Dotted Pattern in the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper.

I trimmed off the two side flaps, the curved closure flap at the top and the rectangle closure piece at the top on only one of the Pocket Panels.

I adhered the two Pocket Panels together with adhesive tape and folded it into the Pocket pictured above.

I then adhered the curved closure flap and the rectangle flap, that I trimmed off, back onto the Pocket with Mono Multi Purpose Glue so you see the same Designer Series Paper pattern.

I made another Very Vanilla Tag like I shared on my blog yesterday.

Using SU's new Spooky Cat Stamp Set, I stamped the Potion Bottles Outline Stamp in Basic Black Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock.

I then stamped the Detailed Image Potion stamps inside each Bottle Outline using Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry Ink and fussy cut it out.

I stamped the Rat in Basic Gray Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and fussy cut it out.

Using SU's new Detailed Gate Thinlits Dies, I die cut out the Large Gate and then trimmed out a portion of the upper center of the Gate.

I adhered the Bottles of Potion on the bottom left of the Gate Panel and the Rat to the bottom right with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I inserted my Tags into the Pocket and tied a length of SU's new Smoky Slate 1/2" Gingham Ribbon around the top and into a Bow.

Using my 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch, I punched a hole in the upper left corner of the Very Vanilla Tag.

I cut a length of Old Olive Baker's Twine and thread it through the Tag and the Gate, under and around the Smoky Slate Ribbon on the Pocket and tied it into a knot.

I just Love how this Tag Holder turned out and I will definitely be making some Christmas Tags and Treat Holders in the near future.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
