Brrrr...it is a chilly one outside today! The high is only expected to be in the mid to high 60's and down into the 40's again tonight. We will have to turn the furnace on soon.
My
share for today is another Alternate Card that I designed using
elements from Stampin' Up's new Watercolor Christmas Project Kit. Let's
take a look:
My Card Base is the Real Red Card Base from Stampin' Up's new Watercolor Christmas Project Kit.
I ran the Card Base through my BIG Shot with SU's new Quilt Top Embossing Folder. The Quilt Top background looks really, really neat as the Real Red Card Base has a white core which makes the embossing look even more like stitching. Like white stitching. So pretty!
I fussy cut out the Star pattern from the Garden Green with the Red Star pattern in SU's new Quilted Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Paper Pack and adhered the Star to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using SU's new Seasonal Tags Framelits Dies, I die cut the Snowflake from Garden Green Cardstock.
Using SU's new Trim Your Stocking Thinlits Dies, I die cut 2 Large Snowflakes from Garden Green Cardstock and one from Whisper White Cardstock. I die cut 5 Small Snowflakes from the Gold Foil Envelope Liner from the kit and two Small Snowflakes from Whisper White Cardstock.
For the Snowflakes in the Center of the Star:
I adhered the Garden Green Snowflake to the Center of the Star with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. I adhered the Large Whisper White Snowflake with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensional to the Garden Green Snowflake. I then adhered a Small Gold Foil Snowflake with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. The rest of the Snowflakes were all adhered with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I adhered some of SU's new Glitter Enamel Dots to five of the Snowflakes as shown in the picture above.
For the inside of my Card:
Using SU's new Snowflake Sentiments Stamp Set, I stamped the Snowflakes in Garden Green Ink by stamping off once onto scrap paper and then onto the inside of my Card without re-inking.
I adhered one of the Real Red Rectangle Die Cuts from the kit onto the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using SU's new Watercolor Christmas Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment onto one of the Whisper White Tags from the kit in Basic Black Archival Ink. I adhered the Tag to the Real Red Rectangle Die Cut with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I'm so in love with this kit that I ordered another! =)
That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
