Stampin' Up! Layered Leaves Paper Pumpkin, Gourd Goodness, Seasonal Layers, Layering Squares - Alternate Card - II

Today is supposed to be our last day in the 90's with some rain showers moving in tonight and then we go from 70 on Thursday and into the 60's for the rest of the week and weekend.  That will surely feel more like Fall weather.

My share for today is an alternate card that I designed using Stampin' Up's September 2017 Layered Leaves Paper Pumpkin Kit and some items from my personal stash.

Let's take a look at my card:

I shared with you Stampin' Up's Layered Leaves September 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit on my blog yesterday.  Layered Leaves is a good name for this Card.  Lot's and lot's of pretty Fall Leaves.

My Card Base is Blushing Bride Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding Card.

Pictured above is the Pillow Box that I made according to the instructions in the kit.

For my Card Front Panel, I trimmed out a panel of the dry embossing portion from one of the Pillow Boxes in the kit to measure 2-3/4" x 3-7/8" and adhered it to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals leaving the edges free of adhesive so I could tuck some leaves underneath the Panel.

I adhered one of the Large Leaf negative die cuts leftover from the die cut sheets to a sheet of SU's new Champagne Foil Paper and fussy cut it out.

Using the Layered Leaves Stamp Set from the Kit, I stamped the Large Leaf in VersaMark Ink onto the foil (be careful the stamp doesn't slide around on the foil), sprinkled it with SU's Copper Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool. Gorgeous!!!

I then fussy cut out the two negative die cut leaves leftover from the die cut sheets as shown in the picture above.

I adhered the two fussy cut negative leaves to the Large Foil Leaf and then to my Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I cut a length of SU's new 1/4" Copper Trim, thread it through one of SU's new Year of Cheer metal embellishments, tied it into a Bow and adhered it to my Large Leaf with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  SU's Copper Trim is so cool.  You can cut it lengthwise or not cut it at all and stretch it out and it looks like Mesh.  So pretty!

I adhered 2 of the Old Olive 3 Leaf Stem die cuts from the kit underneath my Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

Using Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies, I die cut out two of the Detailed Image Leaves from SU's Gold Foil Paper.  I fussy cut the Leaves apart and adhered them randomly to my Card and my Old Olive Leaves with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.  I used my Paper Piercing Tool to tuck in a couple more Stampin' Dimensionals along the edges of my Card Front Panel.

I adhered 3 of SU's new Enamel Glitter Dots to my Card Front Panel as shown in the picture above.

For the inside of my Card:
Using SU's Layering Squares Framelits Dies, I die cut the Largest Scalloped Square from Whisper White Cardstock and adhered it to the inside of my Card.

I used the Reverse side (the bottom) of the Large Leaf stamp from the Layered Leaves Stamp Set from the kit, inked it up with Blushing Bride Ink, stamped it onto Shimmery White Cardstock and fussy cut it out.  You get a whole new image and another use for your stamps when stamping the reverse side of your stamps!

Using SU's new Gourd Goodness Stamp Set, I stamped my sentiment in Basic Black Achival Ink onto the Leaf and adhered it to the Scalloped Square with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Pictured above are 2 of the 3" x 3" Cards that I made according to the instructions in the kit and shared with you on my blog yesterday.

What a gorgeous card if I don't say so myself!  I'm not sure that I can part with this one!
