My share for today is a Happy Card that I designed using Stampin' Up's new Delightful Daisy and Color Theory Designer Series Paper, This Little Piggy and Grown with Love Stamp Sets and Daisy and Pretty Label Punch.
Let's take a look:
Stinkin' cute Little Piggy's again and again and again, eh! =) I have such a passion for all things animals and SU's This Little Piggy Stamp Set caught my eye immediately in the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog! Love, love and love these Little Piggy's!!!
My Card Base is Blushing Bride Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a side opening Card. I haven't made one of these in a while.
My Card Front Panel is a Dapper Denim Pattern in SU's new Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack cut at 3-3/4" x 5" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I trimmed out a strip of the Old Olive Leaf Pattern from SU's new Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper to measure 1" x 5" and adhered only the two sides and the bottom to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
For the wagon: Using SU's new Grown with Love Stamp Set, I stamped the Wagon in Smokey Slate Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I stamped the bottom of the Wagon for the Wheels in Basic Black Archival Ink and the top of the Wagon in Real Red Ink.
When ordering from the new 2017-2018 Catalog, I missed ordering this set as a bundle so I don't have the Garden Grown Framelits Dies and had to fussy cut out the Wagon. I fussy cut out the Smokey Slate Wagon and then adhered the fussy cut Red Wagon to the Smokey Slate Wagon with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the fussy cut Wheels with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.
Using SU's new This Little Piggy Stamp Set, I stamped the Piggy's, 3 Clouds and 8 extra Daisies onto Shimmery White Cardstock in Basic Black Archival Ink .
Using my Aqua Painter Brush and Blushing Bride Ink, I water colored my Piggy's.
I colored in the Piggy's Hooves with my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker and the Daisy's with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive and fussy cut them out.
Using my 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch, I very carefully punched a tiny hole in the Piggy's tail and slid the Wagon Hitch into the Piggy's Tail. I then very carefully adhered the Wagon and the walking Piggy to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue leaving the top of the Wagon free of adhesive. I adhered the sitting Piggy under the top of the Wagon with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered 6 of the Daisy's underneath the strip of Old Olive Leaf Pattern Paper with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I added a tiny drop of Glue from SU's Fine Tip Glue Bottle to the Center of each Daisy and to the White part of both Wheels to give them some extra shine.
I trimmed off the Stem from one Daisy and adhered it next to the sitting Piggy's Ear. Isn't she sweet!!!
I brushed Wink of Stella on the 3 Clouds, let them dry and adhered them with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
For the inside of my Card: I trimmed out a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to measure 3-1/2" x 4-1/4", rounded the corners and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using SU's new Label Me Pretty Stamp Set, I stamped the Label and my Sentiment onto Blushing Bride Cardstock in Basic Black Archival Ink, punched it out with SU's new Pretty Label Punch and adhered it with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered the last Daisy next to my Sentiment with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
What a fun Card and my Fave so far.
Love, Love and LOVE these Little Piggy's!!!
