My share for today is a Get Well Card I designed using Stampin' Up's new Host Stamp Set called Feathery Friends
.  I also used SU's Sheltering Tree and Flourishing Phrases Stamp Sets, the new Pretty Label and the new Ticket Tear Punches and the new 2017-2019 In-Color Stampin' Write Markers.

Let's take a look:

A good friend and fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator had surgery Monday and I'm sending this card to her in hopes that it will put a smile on her face.  I used the new 2017-2019 In-Color's that are so bright and cheery!

My Card Base is Tranquil Tide Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4".

My Card Front Panel is Berry Bust Cardstock cut at 4" x 5-1/4" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

My Second Card Front Panel is Powder Pink Cardstock cut at about 4" x 5-1/8".  I punched around all the edges using SU's new Ticket Tear Punch.  (I tried to center the punch on each edge so the corners would come out evenly punched.)

Using the 'Swosh' stamp in SU's Sheltering Tree Stamp Set, I stamped the swosh several times in Soft Suede Ink for the ground at the bottom of the Panel.  I then adhered my Panel to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's new Feathery Friends Stamp Set, I stamped my Images onto Shimmery White Cardstock, colored them in with my Stampin' Write Markers as shown in the picture above and fussy cut them out.  I used Tranquil Tide, Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Daffodil Delight and Soft Sky Stampin Write Markers.

Using SU's Pretty Label Punch, I punched 3 Labels from Soft Sky Cardstock and one Label from Powder Pink Cardstock.

Using SU's Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment on to a Soft Sky Label with Basic Black Archival Ink, went around the edges with my Wink of Stella Brush and adhered it to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using SU's Ticket Tear Punch, I punched two of the Soft Sky Labels as shown in the picture above, brushed Wink of Stella on them and adhered them to my Card lining up the edges with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered all my colored Images to my Card with both Stampin' Dimensionals and Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

For the Large Bell Flower; I adhered the stem at the bottom with Mono Multi Purpose Glue, I put a Stampin' Dimensional under the next Round Flower, I used Mono Multi Purpose Glue under the upper part of the stem and I used more Stampin' Dimensionals under the Large Bell Flower.  (I did this so I could have a neat dimension look to the Flowers.  You could also cut the stems from the flowers and then adhered them the same; but, I wanted to keep it all one piece.)

For the Short Round Flower; I cut the Straight Leaf Stem in half, adhered it with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and adhered the Round Flower with Stampin' Dimensionals on top of the Leaf Stem.

I adhered the Curvy Leaf Stem with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and left the top free of adhesive so it would sit on top of the cloud for some more dimension.

The Bird was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

What a fun card to make.  I hope the recipient gets a big smile when she opens it up!

That's all I have for today! I hope you enjoyed my blog post and thanks for stopping by!

  1. Wow! Who wouldn't smile when they see this cute card? Love the coloring and your little additions, like the ground with the swooshes! That Ticket Border Punch is a great way to set off the stamping too! Great card, Lynn!
