My share for today is another of Stampin' Up's One in a Melon June 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit alternate projects that I designed.  I also used April's Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set, A Sara Thing.

Let's take a look:

Today, I will be sharing with you the second of four 3" x 3" Cards.  I'll share the other two Cards and the Card Holder Box next week.
My Card Base is Crushed Curry Cardstock cut at 3" x 6" and scored at 3" for a side opening Card.

My First Card Front Panel is Emerald Envy Cardstock cut at 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

My Second Card Front Panel is a piece of the Pre-Printed Card Bases from the One in a Melon Paper Pumpkin Kit cut at 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and adhered to my First Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using the One in a Melon Stamp Set from the Kit, I stamped the Rind in Emerald Envy Ink and the Melon in Melon Mambo Ink onto one of the Round Die Cut Tags in the Kit.

I would suggest using one of Stampin' Up's Stampin' Pierce Mats underneath a couple sheets of paper when stamping with a larger, solid image Photopolymer stamp like the half Watermelon stamps in this kit.  The Stampin' Pierce Mat not only gives you more even pressure and ink coverage; but, it keeps your work surface clean too!

Using April's Paper Pumpkin Stamp set, A Sara Thing, I stamped the YOU in Basic Black Archival Ink on the Watermelon.

I cut the tag in half and adhered it to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using the Melon Mambo Baker's Twine in the Kit, I wrapped it around the side of my Card and tied it into a Bow.

For the inside of my Card:  Using SU's One in a Melon Stamp Set, I stamped another Rind and Melon onto one of the Die Cut Tags in the kit, cut it in half and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I stamped the ARE and the SO (masked off the MUCH from SO MUCH) above the Watermelon in Basic Black Archival Ink.

I had some left over scraps from the Pre-Printed Card Bases so I adhered a strip that measures 1/4" x 3" to the bottom of the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Gosh...I LOVE this Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I have so many idea's for thing's to create with it.  I could go on and on and on.

That's all I have for today! I hope you enjoyed my blog post and thanks for stopping by!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

  1. This card makes me want to go buy a watermelon right now! This is so cute, Lynn! I love the bold sentiments and bright colors. That DSP makes the perfect background for the "sweet" watermelon! TFS!
