Stampin' Up! One in a Melon June 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternate 3D Project, 3 x 3 Cards & Holder - 2

It rained yesterday from 5PM until 8AM this morning.  Enough with the rain already!  Midland County is making a lot of progress on repairing the washed out roads.  The one road that my Hubby takes to work and we take into Bay City won't be fixed for another 1-2 weeks yet.  And, more rain is expected every day through next Tuesday so far.  Give us a break!

My share for today is another of Stampin' Up's One in a Melon June 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit alternate 3D projects that I designed.  I also used SU's new Pretty Label Punch.

Let's take a look:

Today, I will be sharing with you the first of four 3" x 3" Cards.  I'll share the other three Cards and the Card Holder Box tomorrow and throughout next week.

My Card Base is Melon Mambo Cardstock cut at 3" x 6" and scored at 3" for a side opening Card.

My First Card Front Panel is Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock cut at 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

My Second Card Front Panel is a piece of the Pre-Printed Card Bases from the One in a Melon Paper Pumpkin Kit cut at 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and adhered to my First Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using the One in a Melon Stamp Set from the Kit, I stamped the Rind in Emerald Envy Ink and the Melon in Melon Mambo Ink onto one of the Round Die Cut Tags in the Kit.

I would suggest using one of Stampin' Up's Stampin' Pierce Mats underneath a couple sheets of paper when stamping with a larger, solid image Photopolymer stamp like the half Watermelon stamps in this kit.  The Stampin' Pierce Mat not only gives you more even pressure and ink coverage; but, it keeps your work surface clean too!

I cut the tag in half and adhered it to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using the Melon Mambo Baker's Twine in the Kit, I wrapped it around the side of my Card and tied it into a Bow.

For the inside of my Card:  Using SU's One in a Melon Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock.

Using SU's new Pretty Label Punch, I punched out the Sentiment and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I fussy cut one of the Watermelon's out from the Pre-Printed Card Bases and adhered it underneath the Sentiment with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I had some left over scraps from the Pre-Printed Card Bases so I adhered a strip that measures 1/4" x 3" to the bottom of the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Gosh...I LOVE this Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I have so many idea's for thing's to create with it.  I could go on and on and on.

That's all I have for today! I hope you enjoyed my blog post and thanks for stopping by!
