Stampin' Up Wonderful Winterland December 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit Envelope Gift Card Holder

It's been in the low to mid 20's at night and down right cold.  The wind finally calmed down today and it's not so bitter cold.  Phew...that wind was so cold on the hands and face.  Brrr.....!!!

Stampin' Up Online Extravaganza Sale is in full swing with some awesome deals.  I posted all the links to Stampin' Up's current promotions on my blog post last Sunday.  If you missed it or want to see it again, click on the link below:

My share for today is an Alternate project that I made with Stampin' Up's December 2016 Wonderful Winterland Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I made a Gift Card Holder from the Envelope and contents in the kit.

Let's take a look:

These Envelope Gift Card Holders are so quick and easy to make.  You could make many of them in just a day!

The picture above shows the Envelope Gift Card Holder opened up with the Gift Card inserted on the right.

The picture above is a close up of the left side inside the Envelope Gift Card Holder.  I used the Wonderful Winterland Stamp Set that comes in the kit to do all my stamping.  I also used the Inks Spots that come in the kit.  The coordinating colors are Soft Sky, Pool Party, Dapper Denim and Pear Pizzazz.

The picture above shows the right side of the inside of the Envelope Gift Card Holder with the Gift Card inserted.

And, a close up of the inside.  I used the Envelope Punch Board to punch a slot in the cardstock so you can remove the Gift Card easier.

I learned how to make the Envelope Gift Card Holder on a Stampin' Up video that SU sent to us some years ago.  It is online now so you can do a search on the internet for the video.

The picture above and the following pictures show just how easy it is to make the Gift Card Holder from an Envelope.

Open the flap on the Envelope and fold it in half as shown in the picture above.

Cut the flap on the fold line down to its natural envelope fold line as shown in the picture above.

Adhere the left side of the flap down.

Now, for the right side:

- You can cut the right side off as I did for my Envelope Gift Card Holder
or
- You can cut a piece of DSP or Cardstock to cover the flap and just fold it down inside the Holder.

Is that just too easy or what!!!

And, I forgot to tell you that my little buddy, BORIS, helped me make my Envelope Gift Card Holder.  He took off with my House Pool Party piece and kind of mangled my House.  You can see it is a little wrinkled; but, the upside is that there wasn't any tooth or claw marks so I could still use it.  Ya' gotta' LOVE our furbabies!
