Stampin' Up Peaceful Pines & Gift Card Holders

I decided to post some of my most popular designs this week since I'm on vacation:
This blog post has 730 blog views; totally amazing!!!  Thank you all for visiting my blog!!!

Phew...this is my last project that I needed to get before Christmas.  So glad that I am done!!!

I decided to make some Gift Card Holders for my Niece, Missy and her family.  And, of course, I had to embellish them.  Let's take a look:

These two gift card holders are for the girls.  I gave them a little bit more bling-bling by using SU's Silver Metallic Thread!  The one on the left, I used up some leftover strands of the thread and the one on the right, I did some looping with the thread.

I used Stampin' Up's Home for the Holidays Designer Series Paper to make the gift cards.  The die for the gift card itself is a die from Sizzix and I don't remember where I got it from.

I wrapped some of SU's 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon loosely around the gift card holder and then stapled it together for a belly band.

I used SU's Peaceful Pines Stamp Set to stamp my image on SU's Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Cardstock.  Then I die cut them using SU's Perfect Pines Framelits Dies and adhered them to the burlap ribbon using SU's Fast Fuse for a stronger hold.

All that was left to do is embellish them.  I used up some of my retired SU sequin stash and added some SU Basic Jewel Rhinestones and called it done!  Woo Hoo!
