Stampin' Up Spooky Fun, Jar of Haunts, A Little Foxy, Halloween Night, Festive Birthday, Fox, Owl & Holly Berry Builders, Sweet & Sassy Circles, Layering Ovals

Goodness, I can't keep up with my two black cats, Boris and Natasha.  The cooler weather has them just flying through the house chasing one another.  They are so quick and so fun to watch.  I think that I will always have 2 cats...they keep each other company and me laughing.

My share today is a card I designed for a Good Friend and Fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Kadie.  Actually, I mailed it to Kadie's cat, Monster, and signed it from my 2 cats, Boris and Natasha.  I'm hoping it gives Kadie and others a BIG smile!

The Stampin' Up products that I used are Spooky Fun and Jar of Haunts Stamp Sets, A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper,  Festive Birthday DSP, Fox Builder, Owl Builder and Holly Berry Builder Punches and Sweet & Sassy Circles and Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.

Let's take a look:

I made Natasha on the left.  Her eye's are a little closer together than her Brother, Boris.  And, Boris is on the right, he has a little different nose so I put his up-side-down.  Aren't they sweet!!!

My card base is Basic Black Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2".

My card front panel is Pumpkin Pie Cardstock cut at 4" x 5-1/4" and adhered to my card base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

My second card front panel is Elegant Eggplant Cardstock cut at 3-3/4" x 5" and adhered to the first card front panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

For the moon in the background, I used SU's Sweet & Sassy Circle Framelits Dies to cut a 2" Circle from Crushed Curry Cardstock and 1-5/8" Circle from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock.

Using SU's Spooky Fun Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink onto the Pumpkin Pie Circle and adhered the two circles together and to my card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Classic Label Punch, I punched 12 Labels from the Gray Wood piece of SU's A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Pack.  I adhered 10 of the labels with Mono Multi Purpose Glue across the bottom of my card to look like a fence .

I adhered two of the labels across the front of the fence with small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.

I punched 3 dots using my 1/4" Handheld Circle Punch, colored around the edges with my Basic Gray Stampin' Write Marker and adhered them with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

For the Cat's Body: Using SU's Fox Builder Punch, I punched the pieces from Basic Black and Blushing Bride Cardstock and assembled them as shown in the picture above.

For the Cat's Eyes:  Using SU's Owl Builder Punch, I punched the two smallest dots from Basic Black Cardstock and the largest dots from the Crushed Curry piece in Festive Birthday DSP.

Using SU's Holly Berry Punch, I punched two Bows from two pieces of Halloween Night DSP, adhered them under each cat's neck with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and added a Pumpkin Pie Circle Enamel Shape to each Bow.

For the inside of my card, using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut one Scalloped Oval from Basic Black Cardstock and one Oval from Whisper White Cardstock.

Using my Wink of Stella Brush, I brushed around the edges of the Scalloped Oval.

Using SU's Jar of Haunts Stamp Set, I stamped the Sentiment on the Whisper White Oval with Basic Black Archival Ink and adhered both Ovals to the inside of my card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I punched another Tail and Head from Basic Black Cardstock and went around them with my Wink of Stella Brush.  I adhered them to the edge of the Scalloped Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I punched another Bow and a 1/4" dot for under the cat's neck.

I LOVE how my cat's turned out and I LOVE my Boris and Natasha!

I hope Monster enjoyed his card and that it made for a lot of BIG smiles!!!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

If you are interested in purchasing Stampin' Up products, you can order from me on-line at www.stampinup.com and please choose me, Lynn Gauthier, as your Demonstrator.

  3. Hi Maggie - I tried to find an e-mail address for you in blogger; but, there wasn't one.
For the White part in the cats eyes, I used the Crushed Curry piece in the Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper Package. The Crushed Curry piece already has the White mark already in the design of the paper, so I just punched out the white marks on the Crushed Curry sheet of paper.
Hope that helps Maggie and I hope you get this message.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!!!!
