What an awesome day!!! I went to the dentist, did a little grocery shopping and came home. And, the sun is shining. Yay! And, it's supposed to be almost 80 degrees out today! Double Yay!!
AND, Triple Yay!!! I found out that I won my very first card challenge at the Pals Paper Arts. So, now that I am a "Paper Artist Pick", I get to put a badge on my blog saying so. WaHoooooo! Now how cool is that!!! If you want to see my card that was picked, click on the link below:

Thanks to the Pals Paper Arts Design Team for picking me! You sure made my day!!!
My share for today is a Christmas card that I designed using Stampin' Up's Santa's Sleigh, Foxy Friends, Love You Lots and Banners for Christmas Stamp Sets, Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Dies and Duet Banner, Fox Builder and Jolly Hat Builder Punches.
Let's take a look:
Such a fun card to make! Sure made me smile the whole time I was making it!
My card base is the Striped piece from Stampin' Up's Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2".
My first card front panel is Real Red Cardstock cut at 4" x 5" and my second is Whisper White Cardstock cut at 2-1/4" x 4". Both were adhered to my card base using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
For the Cat's Hat:
I stamped the Cat's Hat in Garden Green Ink onto Garden Green Cardstock and punched it out with SU's Jolly Hat Builder Punch. I also punched out the Brim for the Hat from Real Red Cardstock.
I adhered the Brim to the Hat and a SU Mini Jingle Bell to the tip of the Hat with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I cut 5 of the Mini Pom Pom's off of a piece of SU's Whisper White Mini Pom Pom Trim and adhered them to the Hat's Brim with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
For the Cat:
Using SU's Fox Builder Punch, I punched all the pieces from Smokey Slate, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White Cardstock.
Using SU's Foxy Friends Stamp Set, I stamped the Cat's face onto the Cat's Head with Basic Black Archival Ink.
I assembled the Cat using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue as shown in the above picture.
*I stamped and fussy cut out the Stocking in the stamp set and used the back, heel and bottom of the Stocking as a guide to fussy cut out the Arms on the Cat.
*I trimmed a thin piece off of the punched tail for the Cat's Tail.
Using SU's Love You Lots Stamp Set, I stamped the mouse in Soft Suede Ink, fussy cut him out and adhered him to the Cat's Tail with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensional.
For the Tree and Bows:
Using SU's Santa's Sleigh Stamp Set, I stamped my Tree in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Garden Green Cardstock.
I stamped my Bows in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I used my Real Red Stampin' Write Marker to color in my Bows. I couldn't find my SU Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Dies so I fussy cut out my Tree and Bows. I adhered my Tree to my card and the Bows to the Tree using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I stamped the Star in Delightful Dijon Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock, fussy cut it out and adhered it to the top of my Tree with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue. Again, I couldn't find my Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Dies so I fussy cut it out. I brushed on some Clear Wink of Stella on the star for some extra shine.
The Presents:
I stamped the presents in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Whisper White, Garden Green and Real Red Cardstock. I colored in the Bows and Presents using my Real Red and Garden Green Stampin' Write Markers and then I adhered the Bows to the Presents and the Presents under the Tree with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue. I also adhered one of the Presents in the Cat's Arms.
Yay! After almost everything was done, I found my Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Dies. So, I stamped the Teddy Bear in Soft Suede Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.
Using my newly found Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Die, I die cut out the Teddy Bear and adhered him under the Tree with small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.
I stamped Merry from SU's Banners for Christmas Stamp Set in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. *I curved the Merry stamp upward on my block. It's nice to be able to do this with Photopolymer stamps.
Using SU's Duet Banner Punch, I punched out the Merry and sponged around it with a sponge dauber and some Real Red Ink. I adhered the Merry to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals and added two Garden Green Candy Dots that I purchased from the Clearance Rack. Sorry, they are all gone and retired now; but, you can always use SU's new Enamel Shapes in place of the Dots.
I think I got everything. There was a lot that went into making this card and I'm so happy with the way it turned out. It just make me smile!!!
That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I

duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or
sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
