Stampin' Up Foxy Friends, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Vintage Leaves, Leaflets, Pretty Pines, Fox Builder, PP317

Ugh!!  Very chilly morning this morning!  Down to 33 degrees, no wind and full sun.  I hope it warms up quickly.

My share for today is a card I designed for a Good Friend and Fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator.  I hope it brings her some much needed smiles!

The Stampin' Up products that I used are Foxy Friends, Vintage Leaves, Teeny Tiny Wishes and Hey There Stamp Sets (Hey There - Paper Pumpkin 2013), Leaflets Framelits and Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies and Fox Builder Punch.

Let's take a look:

My card base is Cajun Craze Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" scored and folded at 5-1/2".

My card front panel is a piece from SU's A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Pack cut at 4" x 5-1/4".  I adhered a piece of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon around the DSP and then to my card base with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Vintage Leaves Stamp Set, I stamped the leaves on their coordinating cardstocks in Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon and Real Red Inks.  I arranged the leaves on my card and then adhered them down with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I used a leftover scrap piece from die cutting some Pine Branches with the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies in Old Olive Cardstock.  It's the pieces leftover after die cutting the branches.  I just trimmed the needles down some.  I also made some trees out of the leftover pieces for another project.  Anyways, I stamped my sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink and tucked it into the leaves again adhering it with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I unraveled some of SU's new Kraft Rope Trim and adhered some pieces in the leaves with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.  I thought they looked like some small twigs like you see in some floral arrangements.  I also tied some pieces together and adhered them to the bottom of the Burlap Trim.

For the Squirrel:  Using SU's Fox Builder Punch, I punched the Fox out twice; once with Soft Suede Cardstock and once with Sahara Sand Cardstock.  I stamped the Squirrels face using Foxy Friends Stamp Set in Basic Black Archival Ink.  I rounded the face with my Paper Snips and then adhered the pieces together using Mono Multi Purpose Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.

I stamped the Acorn on Whisper White Cardstock in Cajun Craze Ink, fussy cut it out and adhered it to the Squirrel using Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  The acorn is from last year's Paper Pumpkin called Wickedly Sweet Treat and is still available as a 'refill kit' only.

For the inside of my card, I die cut another leaf from Delightful Dijon Cardstock.  I stamped the splotches and the sentiment from a retired Paper Pumpkin Kit from 2013 called Hey There in Cajun Craze Ink.  This was one of my very FAVE Paper Pumpkin Stamp Sets and I got a lot of use from it.

I just LOVE how this little Squirrel turned out!!!  He's so cute sitting in all those colorful leaves!!!

I will be entering my Foxy Friends Squirrel card into the Paper Players Challenge #317.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

If you are interested in purchasing Stampin' Up products, you can order from me on-line at www.stampinup.com and please choose me, Lynn Gauthier, as your Demonstrator.

This is my first blog and it is still under construction.  I have yet to receive my Watermark so the picture's are copyright Lynn A. Gauthier, 2015-2016 Stampin' Up.
