Stampin' Up Foxy Friends, Merry Mice, Shake & Celebrate, Santa's Sleigh, Shaker Shapes, Christmas Stockings, Fox Builder

Goodness, it was so foggy this morning!  We got a lot more rain again last night.  It's supposed to be almost 80 degrees out again today and then we go into a real cool down with temp's in the 50's during the day and 40's at night.  Brrrrrrr!!!!

My share for today is a Christmas card that I designed using Stampin' Up's Foxy Friends, Merry Mice, Shake & Celebrate and Santa's Sleigh Stamp Sets, Santa's Sleigh, Shaker Shapes and Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies and Fox Builder Punch.

Let's take a look:

My card base is Stampin' Up's Real Red Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2".

My card front panel is the Crumb Cake White Dotted piece from SU's Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper cut at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" and adhered to my card base with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I trimmed out a piece of SU's Whisper White Cardstock at 3-7/8" x 4" and tore it to make the Snow Banks as shown in the above picture.

Using SU's Merry Mice Stamp Set, I stamped my sentiment in Real Red Ink on the smaller bottom Snow Bank.

I applied Mono Multi-Purpose Glue to the Snow Banks only on the bottom and outside edges leaving the tops free so I could tuck in the Christmas Tree and the Mouse.

Using SU's Santa's Sleigh Stamp Set, I stamped my Tree on Old Olive Cardstock with Old Olive Ink.

Using SU's Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Dies, I die cut out my Tree and adhered it with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue to my card base by tucking the Tree Trunk under the bottom smaller Snow Bank.

Using SU's Shake & Celebrate Stamp Set, I stamped my Bulbs on Whisper White Cardstock in Real Red, Delightful Dijon, Dapper Denim and Garden Green Inks.

Using SU's Shaker Shapes Thinlits Dies, I die cut out all the Bulbs and adhered them to my Tree with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Fox Builder Punch, I punched out the pieces from Smokey Slate Cardstock.

Using Foxy Friends Stamp Set, I stamped the Face with Basic Black Archival Ink.

I trimmed a very skinny piece off of the punched Fox Tail for the Mouse's Tail.

I assembled the body as shown in the picture above using both Mono Multi-Purpose Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals.

I punched two 3/4" Circles from Smokey Slate Cardstock and two 1/2" Circles from Blushing Bride Cardstock.  I adhered the Circles together as shown in the above picture and then to the back of the head of the Mouse.

I adhered the Mouse to the upper Snow Bank with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue by tucking the Mouse under the Snow Bank.

Using SU's Shake & Celebrate Stamp Set, I stamped the Star onto Whisper White Cardstock with Delightful Dijon Ink.  I die cut the Star out using SU's Shaker Shapes Thinlits Dies and adhered it to the Mouse underneath it Paws.

Using SU's Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies, I die cut out 4 of the Stockings with the Snowflake from Whisper White Cardstock.  I set the Stockings aside for another project and adhered the 4 Snowflakes to my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

And, of course, I adhered a SU Silver Enamel Shape to each of the Snowflakes.

I LOVE the way my card looks like the Mouse is going to put the Star on top of the Tree via the large upper Snow Bank.  Exactly what I was going for!!!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
