Stampin' Up Halloween Gift Bags, Tear & Tape, Fringed Scissors III

Another cold start to the morning; but, it's supposed to get up to the 70's today!  And, I have more yard work!!!

My two black cats, Boris & Natasha, were sure wound up this morning.  Holy Buckets of Terror were they on the run.  And, the sounds they were makin', let me tell you, they fit right in with Halloween.  Made the hair on the back of my neck stand right up.  It must be this cooler weather.  They are so fun to watch!!!

My share for today is a couple pencils that I embellished with some Stampin' Up Cardstock.  A very quick and easy project!

The Stampin' Up products that I used are Cardstock, Tear & Tape and Fringed Scissors.

Let's take a look:

Pictured above are the Gift Bags that I made on SU's Gift Bag Punch Board.  I posted these Gift Bags on my blog on Monday.  Very quick and easy to make as the directions are right on the board.

I purchased some Pencils and Erasers at a Dollar Store and embellished them for a quick and easy gift for Kids that can't take candy or baked goods to school.

I cut a piece of 12" x 12" Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 1-1/2" x 12" and used my SU Fringed Scissors to fringe one edge.  I cut the Basic Black Cardstock at 2-1/2" x 12".

I adhered SU's Tear & Tape all the way along the non-fringed edges of both pieces and then cut them in half so I would have pieces to wrap that were 6" in length.

I put the erasers on the end of the pencils to judge where I wanted the fringe to go.  I wanted the erasers to stick up above the fringe.  So, I started with the Pumpkin Pie piece by wrapping it around the pencil about 1-1/2" down from the pencils eraser.

Then, I wrapped the Basic Black piece under the Pumpkin Pie piece and another Pumpkin Pie piece under the Basic Black piece.

A very cute, quick and easy project!!!

Please come back tomorrow and next week to see more Halloween Goodies!!!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
