Share What You Love, Love What You Do, Detailed With Love, Detailed Trio - Friend Card

Our temperature has finally cooled down today and no humidity.  It's quite windy with gusts up to 35 mph at times and our high temperature is supposed to be 72 and then down to 49 tonight.  Much better sleeping weather!!!  😊😊😊

My share for today is a Friends Card that I made using SU's new Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and Love What You Do & Detailed With Love Stamp Sets.  Let's take a look:

I always say that it's so hard for me to make a Clean & Simple Card as I love so much detail in my card's and I can't stop adding elements.  I think I nailed the Clean & Simple card this time.

Stampin' Up's new Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper is just awesome.  I still haven't used or shown you all of the different and gorgeous papers as of yet.  I'm thinking that I will take all the cards that I made with this Specialty DSP and make card boxes for them.  It's just so easy to make cards with this DSP and even use this same layout along the way.

My Card Base is Whisper White Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a side folding Card.

My Card Front Panel is the Crumb Cake/Rich Razzleberry/Flower pattern from SU's Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper cut at 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered one of SU's new Pearlized Doilies to the left side of my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using SU's Starburst Punch, I punched a Starburst from Old Olive Cardstock.

Using SU's new Love What You Do Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment on the Starburst in Basic Black Archival Ink and adhered it over the Pearlized Doily (no need to add more Stampin' Dimensionals as they show through the slots in the Doily from adhering the Doily to the Card Base.)

I cut a length of SU's new 1/4" Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon, tied it in a knot and adhered it to the Starburst with Mono Multi Purpose Glue (let the Glue sit for a few minutes so it gets tacky and it will hold the Velvet Ribbon on the Card nicely).

I trimmed out a panel of Whisper White Cardstock to measure 2" x 3".

Using SU's new Detailed With Love Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink onto the Whisper White Panel.

Using SU's new Detailed Trio Punch, I rounded 3 of the corners on the Whisper White Panel and punched the Flower in the 4th corner as shown in the picture above.

I adhered a scrap piece of the Rich Razzleberry/Lined pattern from Share What You Love Specialty DSP to the back of the Whisper White panel and over the punched Flower with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I then adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Now that is a Clean & Simple card.  And, quick too!

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

Lynn

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
