Animal Expedition, Animal Friends, Tropical Chic, Tropical, Layering Ovals - Giraffe Card

It was mostly cloudy this morning; but, it has cleared up now with high temp's in the high 70's to low 80's.  The thunderstorms stayed North and South of us.  Now, I need to go water my flowers.  Sigh!!!

My share for today is a Giraffe Card that I made with new products from Stampin' Up's new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  Let's take a look:

Well, I'm sure a lot of you knew that I would start out with the Animals when I got my order from Stampin' Up's new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.

I LOVE the new Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper as you can use the coordinating Animal Friends Thinlits Dies to die cut out some of the Animals.  And, that's just what I did!

My Card Base is SU's Mossy Meadow Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding card.

Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Largest Oval from my Card Base Front.

I adhered the Oval back in place with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using SU's Animal Friends Thinlits Dies, I die cut out the Giraffe from SU's new Animal Expediton Designer Series Paper.  I also die cut out the Tree Limb and Frog in 2 separate pieces.  (Note - I cut the Tree Limb in half and die cut out the left side and then the right side.)

Using SU's Tropical Chic Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Black Memento Ink onto Granny Apple Green Cardstock and die cut it out with the Large Leaf die from the coordinating Tropical Thinlits Dies.

I stamped 3 of the Flowers in Melon Mambo Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and die cut them out.

I stamped one of the Small Leaves in Granny Apple Green Ink onto Granny Apple Green Cardstock and die cut it out.

I also die cut out the rest of my Leaves from Mossy Meadow and Granny Apple Green Cardstocks.  (See pictures above and below).

I adhered the Sentiment Leaf to the bottom of the Oval on the Card Base Front with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the two Leaves together and to the top of the Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the Flower with a Stampin' Dimensional.

For the inside of my Card:

I adhered the Giraffe, Tree Limbs, Leaves and Flowers all with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

(Note - I will sign my Card in the blank Large Leaf at the top of the Oval show it does not show through the front.

I am just LOVING all the new stamp sets and coordinating dies.

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

Lynn
