Broadway Bound, Broadway Birthday, Broadway Lights, Oh My Stars - Birthday Card

It's another hot, humid, muggy, uncomfortable day even with air conditioning.  Our high temperature is supposed to be in the high 80's with chances of rain and thunder storms.  Maybe it will cool off if a storm comes through.

Sorry that I didn't post to my blog last Friday.  I had an appt. for a CT Scan and with the Surgeon.  I talked with both the Surgeon and my Family Dr. this morning and the CT Scan came back good so that was some good news.  If/when the swelling comes back under my right eye, I'm to call the Surgeon asap and he will see me asap.  Tomorrow is my appt. with the eye Dr. Specialist.  Even though the Iritis seems to be gone and I just got new glasses in January, the vision in my right eye is still blurry.  Yet, I'm so thankful that I don't have to have another surgery and hoping that the Iritis is gone completely!!!

My share for today is a Birthday Card that I made using Stampin' Up's new Broadway Bound Suite.  It's made almost like the one on Page 68 of SU's new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  Let's take a look:

My Card Base is SU's new Lovely Lipstick Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding card.  Lovely Lipstick is becoming one of my FAVE SU colors!!!

My Card Front Panel is Lovely Lipstick Cardstock cut at 4" x 5-1/4".  I ran this panel through my BIG Shot with SU's Oh My Stars Embossing Folder and adhered it to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I trimmed out a panel of the Gold/Black Striped pattern from SU's new Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper to measure 3" x 3-5/8".

I trimmed out another panel of the Gold/White Shapes pattern from Broadway Bound SDSP to measure 3" x 4", adhered it over the first panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using SU's new Broadway Birthday Stamp Set, I stamped Wish in Granny Apple Green Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.

I stamped my Saying underneath Wish in Memento Black Ink.

I stamped Make A onto a scrap piece of Blushing Bride Cardstock in Lovely Lipstick Ink, trimmed it out as shown in the picture above and adhered it above Wish with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's new Broadway Lights Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Sign Die from Basic Black Cardstock and from the Stamped Whisper White Cardstock.

I adhered the Whisper White Stamped Cardstock and the Basic Black Sign die cut to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I die cut out the Long Diamond Die from Lovely Lipstick Cardstock and adhered 4 of the Diamonds to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I die cut out one of the Party Hats from the Hat Pattern in Broadway Bound SDSP and adhered it over the top of the H in Wish with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  I love it when you can die cut pieces from the Designer Series Papers.

Broadway Bound is such a darling Suite and it will coordinate with our new Paper Pumpkin this month.  I can't wait to play, I mean work, with the new Paper Pumpkin and the Broadway Suite!!!  How exciting to have a Paper Pumpkin Kit coordinate with one of Stampin' Up's Suites!!!

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

Lynn

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
