Lilypad Lake, Lakeside - Sailboat Card

It's a gorgeous day in Michigan!  The sun is shining full on with Easterly winds.  The high temperature is supposed to be in the high 70's-low 80's.  A good day for a pontoon ride...no fishing...Winds from the East; Fishing is the Least!!!

My dear friend, Dee, is struggling with bone cancer and things have gotten incredibly worse for Dee and her family.  Another dear friend, Shirley, had a mild heart attack and her Son, John, is at U of M in Ann Arbor again with kidney failure.  So, if you pray, please send some prayers their way!!!

My share for today is a Sailboat Card that I made using Stampin' Up's new Lilypad Lake Stamp Set and the coordinating Lakeside Framelits Dies.  Let's take a look:

Stampin' Up's new Lilypad Lake and the coordinating Lakeside Framelits Dies have become one of my FAVE sets.

My Card Base is SU's new Soft Sea Foam Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding card.

Using the new Lilypad Lake Stamp Set, I stamped the Waves in Soft Sea Foam Ink 5 times onto my Card Front.

I then stamped the Sailboats and the Sun in Black Memento Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock.

Using SU's Stampin' Blends, I colored the Sun with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight and the Sailboats with Light & Dark Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight.  I just LOVE to sit and relax and color.  Sooooo much fun!!!

Using the coordinating Lakeside Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Sun and Sailboats.

I adhered the Sun and the Small Sailboat with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the 2 Sailboats with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped my Sentiment in Black Memento Ink onto Soft Sea Foam Cardstock.

Using the Label die from Lakeside Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Label, put the Label back in the Label die and cut the Label shorter.

I adhered some Fast Fuse (Retired) onto the back of the Label and cut a length of SU's new Crumb Cake Thick Baker's Twine.  I adhered the Baker's Twine like the old fashioned Ribbon Hard Candy and adhered it to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered 3 of SU's Calypso Coral Iridescent Sequins to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

Wouldn't it be fun to take a ride on one of these colorful Sailboats!!!

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

Lynn

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
