Sneak Peek - Sale-A-Bration Lots of Lavender

I hope everyone had a fun and safe Christmas!

We celebrated Christmas with a couple of our good friends.  One of them being my good friend who has bone cancer.  Her cancer numbers are back up again and she was very, very quiet most of the day.  She has more tests this Friday and I hope that they can control with medication and that she doesn't have to have the chemo treatments again.  I will continue to keep her in my prayers and hope for the best results.

It's partly to mostly cloudy out today with a high temperature of 8 degrees.  The winds have picked up again so we have wind chill advisories.  Our low temperature for tonight is minus 3 degrees.  This cold weather is supposed to last into the first week of January.  It's the coldest weather that we have had in two years.

We are still flushing the chlorine out of our water from the new well so it will be a lot longer than we thought before we can drink the water.  It's so cold and we have to keep a close watch on the garden hose so it doesn't freeze up.  Now I know how bad it is for the people in Flint.  Buying and transporting water is a real chore especially this time of year.

My share for today is from SU's Sale-A-Bration Lots of Lavender Stamp Set.  Let's take a look:

The Lots of Lavender Stamp Set is a Free Sale-A-Bration item with a qualifying purchase.  The stamps in this stamp set are designed to stamp a Water Color image and it is also a Multi-Layer Stamp Set.

I experimented with different colors of Stampin' Up! inks on the Lavender Bouquets.

I stamped my Lavender onto Shimmery White Cardstock with Basic Black Archival Ink.

I stamped this Lavender Bouquet with Berry Burst Ink.  It is kind of dark so I would suggest stamping it off once and then stamping it again without re-inking.  My Berry Burst Ink Pad is quite juicy with ink so that may be another reason why it is kind of dark.  Still very, very pretty.

I stamped the Leaves in Old Olive Ink and the Bow in Pool Party Ink.

I stamped this Lavender Bouquet in Wisteria Wonder Ink and the Leaves in Lemon Lime Twist ink.

I stamped this one with Sweet Sugarplum Ink and the Bud's in Berry Burst Ink.

I used my Old Olive Light and Dark Stampin' Blend Markers to color my Leaves.

For this one, I stamped the Lavender Bouquet in Perfect Plum Ink and my Leaves in Garden Green Ink.

Such a gorgeous stamp set.  I'll share a card using the Lots of Lavender stamp set with you tomorrow.

Stamparatus

The Stamparatus is a new product from Stampin' Up!  I was one of the unfortunate ones to miss the first reservation window.  I love this new product and my FAVE feature of the Stamparatus is the double doors!

Change in Stamparatus Reservation Windows

The results are in! The first Stamparatus reservation window reached its maximum number of reservations in just 15 minutes, which provided us with some very important information: You LOVE this new stamping tool! We couldn’t be more thrilled; in fact, your response was so amazing that we’ve decided to make some important adjustments to the reservation process.
As was previously announced, the second reservation window will remain open from December 5–30; however, during this reservation period we will take as many orders as we receive (yay!) and not close the window until December 30. So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!
Please note the following changes:
  • Beginning March 19, we will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in our warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5–30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced).
  • In order to accommodate demand, limits have changed as follows: one reservation per customer and one per demonstrator.
  • Because we are not limiting the maximum number of reservations for the second window, we will not offer a third window. This is the last chance for you and your customers to reserve a Stamparatus before it becomes available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog.
Please note what has not changed:
  • If you reserved more than one stamping tool during the first reservation period, that number will not change; you will still receive the same number you reserved.
  • If you reserved one or more stamping tool(s) during the first reservation period, you may still order during the second window.
  • The reservation window will open at 2:00 PM (MT) on December 5.
We can’t wait for you to get your hands on your very own Stamparatus and look forward to seeing the projects you’ll make with this incredible stamping tool. Look for additional details on the Stamparatus product page as the second reservation window approaches.

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
