Christmas Around the World, Christmas in the Making, Seasonal Chums. Seasonal Tags, Bunch of Banners - Treat Project

We got a little bit more snow through the night and into the morning.  Our high for today is only 28.  Brrrr!

My share for today is a rolled hard Candy Treat Project.  Let's take a look:

These little guys were fun to create.  There's a roll of Life Savers inside!  They're the longer rolls that come in a book packaging.

I LOVE the new Stampin' Blends.  You can see on the Snowman's Hat, Scarf and Mittens and on the Bunny how nicely they Blend from Light to Dark.  😊😊😊

I wrapped the entire roll with Whisper White Cardstock that measured 3-1/4" x 3-3/4" (give or take a little on the length - 3-3/4" as each roll of candy was a little different).  I adhered the long end with SU's Tear & Tape Adhesive.

I trimmed out the Snow Pattern from SU's Christmas Around the World Designers Series Paper to measure 2-5/8" x 3-1/4" and wrapped it around the top the same way as the Whisper White Cardstock.

I trimmed out a piece of SU's Silver Glimmer Paper to measure a shy 1/4" by about 3" and used an 1/8" Adhesive Tape to adhere it around the seam as shown in the picture above.  I had to put a little 'Glisten' on the Snow!  😊😊😊

Using SU's Seasonal Chums Stamp Set, I stamped my Tags in Black Memento Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock and colored the Snowmen with SU's new Stampin' Blends Markers and the Hat on the Snowman on the left with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.

Using the coordinating Seasonal Tags Frameits Dies, I die cut out the Tags, trimmed the Front off of the Back of the Tags and adhered the Front of the Tags to the candy roll with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I also die cut out three of the Snowflakes from the Silver Glimmer Paper.

Using SU's Christmas in the Making Stamp Set, I masked off the Sentiment Stamp and only inked up the Merry Christmas and stamped it onto Whisper White Cardstock with Real Red Ink.

Using SU's Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Sentiment and adhered it to the candy roll with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I colored 3 Basic Jewel Rhinestones with my Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blend Marker and adhered one to the center of each Snowflake with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  (Tip - put a dab of the Glue in the center of each Snowflake and let it set up [ dry ] a little before you adhere the Rhinestones.)  It will adhere to the Glimmer Paper better (more secure) when the Glue becomes a little Tacky.  Do the same when adhering the Snowflake to the candy roll.  Sometimes, it's a little difficult to get the Glimmer Paper to adhere because of the coating on the back of the Paper.

I adhered one of SU's Mini Bows to the top of each candy roll.  (Tip - I trimmed the plastic adhesive piece underneath each Bow into a circle to fit the top of the candy roll.)  I also used some Mono Multi Purpose Glue underneath to make the Bow more secure.  Again, I let the Glue become Tacky.

I'm thinking my Great Niece and Nephew will like these little treats when they receive them at Christmas!!!  I know I would!!!  😋😋😋

Change in Stamparatus Reservation Windows

The results are in! The first Stamparatus reservation window reached its maximum number of reservations in just 15 minutes, which provided us with some very important information: You LOVE this new stamping tool! We couldn’t be more thrilled; in fact, your response was so amazing that we’ve decided to make some important adjustments to the reservation process.
As was previously announced, the second reservation window will remain open from December 5–30; however, during this reservation period we will take as many orders as we receive (yay!) and not close the window until December 30. So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!
Please note the following changes:
  • Beginning March 19, we will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in our warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5–30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced).
  • In order to accommodate demand, limits have changed as follows: one reservation per customer and one per demonstrator.
  • Because we are not limiting the maximum number of reservations for the second window, we will not offer a third window. This is the last chance for you and your customers to reserve a Stamparatus before it becomes available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog.
Please note what has not changed:
  • If you reserved more than one stamping tool during the first reservation period, that number will not change; you will still receive the same number you reserved.
  • If you reserved one or more stamping tool(s) during the first reservation period, you may still order during the second window.
  • The reservation window will open at 2:00 PM (MT) on December 5.
We can’t wait for you to get your hands on your very own Stamparatus and look forward to seeing the projects you’ll make with this incredible stamping tool. Look for additional details on the Stamparatus product page as the second reservation window approaches.
