Christmas Around the World, Festive Phrases, Peanut Brittle Bar Slider

It's a cloudy, windy day and trying to spit out some rain.  Our high temperature for the day is supposed to be in the low to mid 50's.  No snow yet!  Yay!

My share for today is a Peanut Brittle Bar Slider that I designed.  Let's take a look:

That little Elf just cracks me up!!!  I stamped the Elf from SU's Festive Phrases Stamp Set and colored him with my Stampin' Blends Markers.

I didn't get to make Peanut Brittle so my Hubby bought some Peanut Brittle Bars and when I saw them, I knew I had to make something with them.

I used Stampin' Up's Around the World Designer Series Paper to make the Slider Box.

I trimmed out a piece of Basic Black Cardstock to measure 3/4" x 12", wrapped it around the Bar and stapled it together at the top.

I tied a double Bow using SU's 3/8" Old Olive Mini Chevron Ribbon and stapled it onto the top of the Slider Pull (Basic Black Cardstock around the Bar).

Using my Hot Glue Gun, I adhered two of SU's Green Sprigs to the center of my Bow.

I cut a length of SU's Linen Thread and tied two of SU's Mini Ornaments around the Bow and then into a Bow.

Using my Hot Glue Gun, I rolled some of my scraps of SU's Real Red Tinsel Trim into balls, adhered them together and onto each side of the Mini Ornaments.

I trimmed out a 6" x 6-1/4" piece of SU's Around the World DSP.

With the 6" side at the top of your trimmer, score at 3/4".

With the 6-1/4" side at the top of your trimmer, score at 1/4", 2-1/2", 3-1/4" and 5-1/2".

Cut your flaps up to the 3/4" score line and cut out the little corner on the bottom right as shown in the picture above.

Fold up into an open top box and adhere together with Adhesive Tape.

I trimmed out two pieces of Basic Black Cardstock to measure:
 1/4" x 5-1/4"
 1/4" x 2-1/4"
I adhered these to the front of the Box to look like Ribbon on a package.

I adhered my Elf to the center of the Package with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I'm sure my recipient of this Peanut Brittle Bar Slider will enjoy it!!!
