Stampin' Up Home for Christmas Deer Tags/Ornaments with Doilies and Tag Box Holder

Today, I have another set of tags and a tag holder for you.  I tweaked my back today so this will be a short blog post.  So, let's jump right in and take a look:

I just love these Whitetail Deer and I will surely miss them now that they are retiring!  I've made this tag/ornament box holder on Stampin' Up's Envelope Punch Board and posted it and the directions in a previous post on my blog.

Here are a list of the things that I did different:

I used SU's Read Red Cardstock for the tag/ornament box holder.

I used SU's Season of Cheer Designers Series Paper for the Belly Band.  For the embellishment on the belly band, I used SU's Real Red Cardstock for the Scalloped Oval.  I stamped the sentiment from SU's Happy Scenes Stamp Set in Real Red Ink onto SU's Whisper White Cardstock and punched it out with SU's Oval Punch.

When I die cut the caps with SU's Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies, I kept the holes from the ornament caps and used them for an embellishment on the oval above and below the sentiment. I also kept a few tiny circles from using my SU handheld hole punch and adhered them onto them onto the cap holes.  I then used my new Wink of Stella Brush from SU and colored the circles so they would shine with glitter.  I could not capture the glittery shine with my camera no matter how hard I tried.
Pictured above is the entire ensemble.
I used SU's Silver and Gold Doilies and SU Whisper White Cardstock die cut with SU's Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies for the base of the ornaments.  The ornament caps were also die cut from SU's Silver and Gold Foil Papers.
I fussy cut the poinsettia's and the whitetail deer from the SU Home for Christmas DSP.
I tied on some of SU's Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine for the ornament holders.
Just a reminder, the last day to order from the Stampin' Up Holiday Catalog is January 4, 2016!
And, Stampin' Up added lots of items to the Clearance Rack today!  And, the retired list is on the SU website.  Some really great savings!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
