Stampin' Up Farmer's Market 8"x8" Artichoke Dip Recipe Swap Card

Hope everyone is ready for Christmas!

My Good Friend and Fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Kadie, asked me to participate in a Stampin' Up 8"x8" Recipe Card Swap.  I was a little nervous as I've not done anything like this before.  The recipe's are to go on a flip stand from Recollections; but, I can't find one anywhere.  I think they are retired so I'll have to find a certain size album to fit them in or something.

So, below is a FAVE recipe for Cheesy Artichoke Dip from my Niece, Amy.  Thought you might like to make it for your Holiday parties!

With the help of my Niece Amy's recipe, here is what I created:

Stampin' Up has a gorgeous Designer Series Paper called Farmers Market.  So, I immediately chose the Artichoke paper for embellishing.  I fussy cut a lot of the little artichokes and used them on the bottom and in the bowl of dip for embellishments.

For my base, I used SU's Blackberry Bliss Cardstock which one of the coordinating colors that goes with the SU Farmers Market DSP.

I stamped the bowl and spoon (doing a lot of masking) from Stampin' Up's Get Well Soup Stamp Set found on page 23 of the SU Annual Catalog.

Using SU's Square Collections Thinlits Die, I die cut some squares using part of the Scalloped Square Die and then used my Stampin' Trimmer to cut the Blackberry Bliss Checkered Paper.

For my first try, I think it turned out pretty good!

The next recipe is for Salads and is due the beginning of January.  Can't wait to give it another try!

Let the PARTY begin!  Stampin' Up's 2016 Occasions catalog Sales period is January 5, 2016 - May 31, 2016.

I hope you enjoyed my blog today.  Thanks for stopping in!

This is my first blog and it is still under construction.  I have yet to receive my Watermark so the picture's are copyright Lynn A. Gauthier, 2015 Stampin' Up. I'm getting close to deciding on how I want to do my Watermark.
