Stampin' Up! Layered Leaves September 2017 Paper Pumpkin, Seasonal Layers, Petal Burst, Alternate Project - VII

Another beautiful day in Michigan with lots of sun and a high around 80.  I'm taking advantage of the nice weather while I can!

My share for today is another alternate project, 3 tags, using Stampin' Up's September 2017 Layered Leaves Paper Pumpkin Kit and some items from my personal stash.  I know you are probably getting tired of Leaves as I've shared the Layered Leaves Paper Pumpkin kit on my blog all week; but, I'm still having a blast with this kit and I could design tons more with it!  =)  I hope you can come back tomorrow when I'll share my Tag Holder that I designed!

Let's take a look at my alternate Layered Leaves Paper Pumpkin Tags:

My Tag Bases are Soft Suede Cardstock cut at 2-1/4" x 4".  I trimmed the top 2 corners on an even angle.

Using SU's Petal Burst Embossing Folder, I ran each tag through my BIG Shot.

Using SU's Year of Cheer Washi Tape, I cut a length and wrapped it around the bottom of each Tag about 5/8" up from the bottom of each Tag. 

 
I fussy cut out 3 of the negative Crushed Curry 3 Leaf Stem images and 3 of the Old Olive Fern Leaf Stem images from the leftover Leaf Die Cut Sheets after the die cuts were removed. 

Using Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies, I die cut 3 of the Detailed Leaf image and 3 of the Solid Leaf image from the Pre-Watercolored Envelopes from the Kit and 3 each from SU's Gold Foil Sheets.

I adhered the Detailed image Leaves to each of the Solid Image Leaves with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

For my Leaf Piles:  😊😊😊  (I used Mono Multi Purpose Glue to adhere all Leafs.)
I adhered the negative Fern Leaf and the Fern Leaf die cut onto the Tag.
I adhered the negative Crushed Curry 3 Leaf Stem next.
I adhered the Pre-Watercolored Envelope Leaf on top of the negative Crushed Curry Leaf.
I adhered the Solid image Gold Leaf underneath the Leaves.
I fussy cut apart the Detailed image Gold Leaves and adhered the pieces underneath the Pre-Watercolored Envelope Leaf.

   
Using Layered Leaves Stamp Set from the kit, I inked up the Small Leaf Stamp with Old Olive Ink, stamped it off onto a piece of scrap paper and stamped it onto 3 of the Round Tags from the kit without re-inking. 

I masked off the words from the Thanks and Thankful stamps and stamped just the Thanks, Thankful and the Thank You stamps in Cajun Craze Ink over the top of the Leaves on my Tags.  (You could also you Birthday Stamp Sentiments on your Tags for someone who has a Fall Birthday!)

I cut lengths of the Copper/White Baker's Twine from the kit and tied one through the holes in each Tag as shown in the picture above.

I adhered my Round Tags to the stems of the Leaves with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I cut lengths of SU's new 1/4" Copper Trim, tied them into a Bows and adhered them to my Round Tags with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered one of SU's Glitter Enamel Dots to each Round Tag.

I used my 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch and punched a hole in the top of each tag.

I cut lengths of the 1/4" Copper Trim, tied them through the holes and knotted the tops as shown in the picture above.
