Spooky Night, Seasonal Chums, Seasonal Tags, Patterned Pumpkins, The Little Things, Window Box, Layering Circles - Hexagon Halloween Card

Ugh!  It is a really cool, rainy Fall day with the high only expected to be about 55.  That white stuff is going to be falling from the sky pretty soon!  Yikes!

My share for today is a Hexagon Halloween Card with lots and lots of details.  Let's take a look:

Check out all the details in this little 2-7/8" x 3-3/8" Hexagon Card.  I had a blast designing this one!!!

For my Card Base, I trimmed out a panel of Basic Black Cardstock that measures 3-1/2" x 7" and scored and folded it at 3-1/2".  Using Stampin' Up's Window Box Thinlits Dies, I traced the Hexagon Die with a White Signo Gel Pen onto the Cardstock with the edge of the die on the folded edge of the Cardstock.  I then trimmed the Hexagon out on my SU Trimmer.  SU's Trimmer worked perfect for cutting through the double thickness.  😊😊😊

Using SU's Layering Circles Framelits Dies, I die cut the 2-1/2" Scalloped Circle from the Checkered/Dashed pattern from SU's Spooky Night Designer Series Paper and one from Whisper White Cardstock.  (The Whisper White Scalloped Circle is for the inside of my Card.)  I then die cut the 2-1/8" Circle from Daffodil Delight Cardstock.  Using one of SU's Sponge Daubers, I sponged some Pumpkin Pie Ink onto the Daffodil Delight Circle for the sky.

I adhered the Checkered/Dashed and Daffodil Delight Scalloped Circles to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's Seasonal Chums Stamp Set, I stamped the Pumpkin Tag onto Shimmery White Cardstock with Basic Black Archival Ink.

Using SU's Seasonal Tags Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Pumpkin Tag.

I finally received my new Stampin' Blends Markers last night and got to try them out on the Pumpkin Tag.  And, yes, I'm in LOVE with them!!!   😋😋😋  Stampin' Up is going to be offering them to our Customers by the end of this year!  We, as Demonstrators, got to order them early and give them a try!!!

I colored my Pumpkin Tag using SU's new Stampin' Blends Light and Dark Markers in Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Crumb Cake.  I then fussy cut apart the Tag separating the front from the back of the Tag.  I adhered the front of the Pumpkin onto the Daffodil Delight Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.  (The back of the Pumpkin is for the inside of my Card.)

I fussy cut out a Halloween Witches Hat from the Witches Hat pattern from Spooky Night DSP and adhered it to the Pumpkins head with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I then adhered one of SU's Glitter Enamel Circles to the Band on the Hat.

Using SU's Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies, I die cut out the Pumpkin with the Stars from Daffodil Delight Cardstock and adhered 3 of the Stars to the Sponged Sky on my Daffodil Delight Circle as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's Seasonal Tags Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Spider Web from Whisper White Cardstock and the Bat from Basic Black Cardstock.

Using SU's The Little Things Stamp Set, I stamped the Spider onto Whisper White Cardstock with Basic Black Archival Ink and fussy cut it out.

I adhered the Spider Web with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the Spider with a tiny piece of Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.  As an afterthought, I'm going to add some of SU's Fine Tip Bottle Glue to the Spider to give him a shine!

I adhered the Bat for a tie for the Pumpkin with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the back of the Bat's head only.  I then adhered two of the tiny Basic Jewel Pearls for the Bats' eye's.

I brushed some Wink of Stella onto the Stars, Spider Web and the Pumpkins eyes, nose and mouth for a glittery shine!

For the inside of my Card:
Using SU's The Little Things Stamp Set, I masked off most of the stamp except the Trick or Treat and the Spider Web and stamped it onto the top of the Whisper White Scalloped Circle with Basic Black Archival Ink.

I adhered the Whisper White Scalloped Circle and the back of the Pumpkin Tag to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

That was a lot of fun and a lot of cool details!

I still have some Stampin' Up Promotions to share with you today too!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
