Spooky Night, Cookie Cutter Builder, Tree Builder, Holly Berry Builder, Graveyard Gate, Detailed Gate, Window Box, Layering Circles - Hexagon Card III

Another nice day here in Michigan.  Some clouds with maybe a little drizzle here and there and some sun at times.  It's a little windy with a high of 67 expected for today!  I'll take it!

My share for today is another Hexagon Halloween Card with lots and lots of details again.

Let's take a look:

I'm still really enjoying embellishing these little 2-7/8" x 3-3/8" Hexagon Cards.  So many cool ideas and details!  And, how about this cool looking Cookie Cutter Builder Punch Mummy!

For my Card Base, I trimmed out a panel of Basic Black Cardstock that measures 3-1/2" x 7" and scored and folded it at 3-1/2".  Using Stampin' Up's Window Box Thinlits Dies, I traced the Hexagon Die with a White Signo Gel Pen onto the Cardstock with the edge of the die on the folded edge of the Cardstock.  I then trimmed the Hexagon out on my SU Trimmer.  SU's Trimmer worked perfect for cutting through the double thickness.  😊😊😊

Using SU's Layering Circles Framelits Dies, I die cut the 2-1/2" Scalloped Circle from the Striped pattern from SU's Spooky Night Designer Series Paper and one from Daffodil Delight Cardstock.  (The Daffodil Delight Scalloped Circle is for the inside of my Card.)   I then die cut the 2-1/8" Circle from Old Olive Cardstock and adhered the Striped and the Old Olive Circles to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, I punched one Cookie from Crumb Cake Cardstock.

I tore small, thin strips from Very Vanilla Cardstock and sponged around all the edges with Crumb Cake Ink.  I adhered all the strips to my punched Cookie with Mono Multi Purpose Glue leaving a space for the eye's to create my Mummy as shown in the picture above.  Doesn't it look cool!!!  It almost looks like yarn; but, it's paper.

Using SU's Holly Berry Builder Punch, I punched 2 of the Circles from Very Vanilla Cardstock and adhered them for the eye's of the Mummy.

Using SU's Cupcake Builder Punch (Retired), I punched 2 of the Circles from Basic Black Cardstock for the Center of the eye's of the Mummy.  (If you don't have the Cupcake Builder Punch, you can use SU's new Basic Jewel Black Rhinestones.)  I adhered the Circles to the center of the eye's with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I used SU's Fine Tip Glue Bottle Adhesive over the eye's to give them an awesome shine!  😊😊😊  After it was dry, I adhered my Mummy to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I was going to punch the Bow Tie in Perfect Plum Cardstock to give the Mummy a Bow Tie; but, I didn't want to hide any of the detail of the sponged paper.

Using SU's Tree Builder Punch, I punched two of the Trees from Soft Suede Cardstock and adhered one to each side of the Mummy with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using about 1/2" of a scrap of SU's 1/4" Copper Trim, I pulled and stretched it out and adhered it around the base of the Mummy's feet and the Trees to look like a Foggy Mist on the ground.  😊😊😊

Using SU's Graveyard Gate Stamp Set, I stamped 3 Bats (one for the inside of my Card) and 1 Crow onto scraps leftover from cutting SU's Spooky Night DSP, fussy cut them out and adhered them with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I used SU's Fine Tip Glue Bottle Adhesive over the bats to give them an awesome shine!
😊😊😊

For the inside of my Card:
Using my Stampin' Write Markers in Basic Black and Perfect Plum, I colored in the Graveyard Goodies Stamp, huffed on the stamp with my breath, stamped it onto the Daffodil Delight Scalloped Circle and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's coordinating Detailed Gate Thinlits Dies, I die cut out the BIG Gate.  I die cut the Detailed Gate 4 times through my BIG Shot; twice inserting it from top to bottom and twice inserting it from left to right.  I found that it takes about 4 times as it is so BIG and Detailed.  Anyways, I trimmed out the piece shown in the picture above with my Snips and adhered it above my Sentiment with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the last Bat to the top of the Gate with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I still have some Stampin' Up Promotions to share with you today too!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
