Sneak Peek, Share What You Love, Vases Builder, Mini Treat Bag Thinlits - For You Card

It's another gorgeous day with the sun shining full on, not a cloud in the sky; but, windy.  Our high temperature is supposed to be 88 degrees.  A nice day for a cruise on the Lake!

My share for today is a For You Card that I made using Stampin' Up's new Vases Builder Punch and Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Let's take a look:

I'm so glad that Stampin' Up came out with another Vase Stamp Set called Varied Vases and a new coordinating Vases Builder Punch (available for purchase on June 1st).  I purchased Vivid Vases years ago, still have it, still use it and still LOVE it!  I won't part with this one either!!!

Stampin' Up creates a Stamp Set for a Demonstrator who reaches a Million Dollars in sales.  I'm not sure who the Demonstrator was for this stamp set; but, I just LOVE it!!!

My Card Base is Stampin' Up's Rich Razzleberry Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding Card.

My Card Front Panel is the Rich Razzleberry Flower/Crumb Cake pattern from SU's new Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper cut at 3-3/4" x 5" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I trimmed out a panel of Mossy Meadow Cardstock to measure 2-3/8" x 4-1/4".  Using SU's Triple Banner Punch, I punched one end of the panel to flag the ends for my Banner.  (I did not put the panel in the slots as a normal punch.  I put the panel in above the slots and under the punching part so I could punch a wider size panel.)

I trimmed out a panel of Whisper White Cardstock to measure 2" x 3" and adhered it to the top of my Mossy Meadow Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I fussy cut some flowers and a leaf stem from Share What You Love Specialty DSP with my SU Snips.

Using SU's new Vases Builder Punch, I punched out my Vase from the Rich Razzleberry/Lined pattern from Share What You Love Specialty DSP.

I punched out the Leaf from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock and adhered it to the bottom of my Vase with Mono Multi Purpose Glue for a plate or saucer underneath my Vase.

I adhered the 2 Flower Stems and the Leaf Stem to the top of my Vase.

I adhered the Vase to my Banner with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I then adhered one Flower Stem down with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and one Flower Stem and the Leaf Stem with tiny pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.

I cut a length of SU's new Crumb Cake Thick Baker's Twine, wrapped it around my Banner and tied it in a knot as shown in the picture above.

I adhered my Banner to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue only on the top inch of the Banner.

Using SU's Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies, I die cut the For You from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock and adhered it underneath my Banner with tiny pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside of my Card:

I trimmed out a panel of Whisper White Cardstock to measure 3-3/4" x 5" and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Vases Builder Punch, I punched out a Vase from the Crumb Cake/Dashes pattern from Share What You Love Specialty DSP, one Leaf from Mossy Meadow Cardstock and 3 Flowers from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.

I trimmed a scrap of Mossy Meadow Cardstock into 3 thin pieces for my Flower Stems.

I snipped the Leaf in half and assembled my Flowers into my Vase and to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I LOVE using Stampin' Dimensionals and seeing the shadows on my Card created by the height of the object when using them.

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

Lynn

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.

With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.

There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!

Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design.  Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
