Manly Moments May 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Nature Sing's, Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty DSP - Alternate Card I

It rained last night and it's cloudy out again today.  Our high temperature is to be around 66.  Tomorrow all the way into next week is supposed to be in the 80's again.

So...we are getting the pontoon out today and getting it ready to put in the water tonight.  Yay!  You all know how much I LOVE to fish so I can't wait!!!  😊😊😊

My Hubby was hauling some stuff outside to the pole barn this morning.  He had the kitchen and screen door propped open and in runs a Chipmunk.  Good thing the cats were napping!  Yikes!!!  The poor thing was trying to run so fast on the linoleum that it's back legs were just sliding around and he wasn't going anywhere fast.  Luckily, the Chipmunk finally went out the same way it came in only he left us a pile of birdseed on the floor that was stored in his cheeks.  Gee, thanks!!!

My share for today is an alternate Card that I made using Stampin' Up's Manly Moments May 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Nature Sing's Stamp Set (carrying over to the new annual catalog) and SU's new Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Designers Series Paper (available June 1st when the new annual catalog goes live).  Let's take a look:

I just LOVE how this card turned out using Stampin' Up's Manly Moments Paper Pumpkin Kit and Nature Sing's Stamp Set.  Nature Sing's Stamp Set is carrying over into the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.

My Card Base is Mossy Meadow Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a side opening Card.

I trimmed out the Lace Oval Rectangle from SU's new Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty DSP (available June 1st).  You can use the Whisper White Side or the Very Vanilla Side of the Laser Cuts.  I chose to use the Very Vanilla Side.  I lightly drew an oval onto my Mossy Meadow Cardstock with a White Grease Pencil so I knew where to adhere my Stickers from the Kit.  (The White Grease Pencils that you used to use for scoring at the Bowling Ally.)  And, yes!  I still have some.  My Hubby is an excellent Bowler!

I adhered the Sahara Sand Mountain Sticker to the Mint Macaron Water Sticker.  I then adhered the Gray Granite Mountain Sticker and another Water Sticker.  I adhered the Tree's die cut to the Water Sticker with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I trimmed up another Tree die cut to fit on the inside bottom of the Lace Oval Rectangle and adhered it to the bottom inside of the Lace Oval Rectangle with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  I used the leftover Tree's and adhered them to the left and right sides of the first Tree's die cut.

I then adhered the Lace Oval Rectangle to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's Nature Sing's Stamp Set, I stamped the Elk in Soft Suede Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and fussy cut them out.

I adhered one Elk to the Left Corner of the Lace Oval Rectangle and the other Elk in between the Tree's inside the Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using the Manly Moments Stamp Set, I stamped Happy in Mossy Meadow Ink onto one of the Crumb Cake Silver Foil Banners from the Kit.  I folded the Flagged Ends of the Banner and adhered it to the top of the Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

For the inside of my Card:

I trimmed out a panel of Very Vanilla Cardstock to measure 3-3/4" x 5" and adhered it to the inside of my Card.

Using Nature Sing's Stamp Set, I stamped the Tree's in Mossy Meadow Ink onto one of the Badge die cuts from the Kit.

Using the Manly Moments Stamp Set from the Kit, I stamped Birthday in Soft Suede Ink onto the bottom of the Badge die cut.

I adhered the Badge die cut to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

My Card would make for a neat Christmas Card too!

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

Lynn

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.

With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.

There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!

Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design.  Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
