Color Theory, Lift Me Up, Sunshine Wishes, Up & Away - Graduation Card

And, another gorgeous day in Michigan today!  Full sun, no clouds and just the lightest of a breeze.  High temperature is expected to be in the low to mid 80's.  It's the perfect day and I'll be outside for sure!!!

What a great day we had yesterday.  Yes - we went fishing and listened to the Detroit Tigers game on the radio.  It was so odd not to have as many boats out on the lake.  It's nice having my Hubby retired so we can go out on the lake all the time now and especially during the week when there are fewer boats.

And, yes!  I out-fished my Hubby, again!  😊😊😊  I caught a really nice Bass and landed it myself.  My hands are so arthritic and they were so tired and my fingers just ached; but, I did it!  And, of course, Bass season doesn't start until this coming Saturday so back in the water it went!  I only caught a couple nice sized Blue Gills as most of the Blue Gills are on their beds right now.  I also caught a few other fish that went back into the water too.  Hubby caught one small bass.  It was a really nice and relaxing day!  😎😎😎

My share for today is another Graduation Card for another of my Great Nephews that I made using Stampin' Up's Lift Me Up Stamp Set.  Ya' see, I'm not just a Good Aunt, I'm a GREAT Aunt.  😊😊😊  Let's take a look:

My Card Base is Stampin' Up's Basic Black Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding Card.

My Card Front Panel is Pumpkin Pie Cardstock cut at 3-3/4" x 5" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Up & Away Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Largest Hot Air Balloon from Basic Black Cardstock and 4 Clouds from the Whisper White/Dapper Denim pattern from SU's Color Theory Designer Series Paper (3 Clouds for the outside and the Largest Cloud for the inside of my Card).

Using SU's Lift Me Up Stamp Set, I stamped 2 Medium and one Small Hot Air Balloon in Pumpkin Pie Ink onto Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and die cut them out.

I adhered 3 of the Clouds with Mono Multi Purpose Glue to my Card Front Panel as shown in the picture above.

I adhered the Basic Black Hot Air Balloon with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered one Medium and one Small stamped Hot Air Balloon with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's Lift Me Up Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Basic Black Ink onto Pumpkin Pie Cardstock.  I trimmed my Sentiment out to measure 3/8" x 2-1/4", flagged the ends with my SU Snips and adhered it to the Hot Air Balloon with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside of my Card:

I adhered the Largest Cloud with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the last Medium Hot Air Balloon slightly over the top of the Cloud with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Congrats from Basic Black Cardstock.

I adhered the Congrats over the Hot Air Balloon and the Cloud with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

My Graduation Card is for my Great Nephew, Jacob, who lives in New York.  Jacob, his Brother Aaron and his Sister Madi are all amazing Lacrosse players.  Jacob just reached his 300th career goal last weekend.  Jacob made 200 goals and 300 points with assists.  We are very proud of all of them!

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

Lynn

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.

With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.

There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!

Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design.  Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
