Stampin' Up! May Good Things Grow March 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Alternate Card - III

We are having a very nice Spring rainy day today with a high in the low to mid 50's.  We haven't had any rain for some time now.  Even my day lilly's, daffodils, tulips, crocus and hyacinth's are all coming up already.  Yay!  I love this time of year except the allergies that come with it!

My share for today is an Alternate Card that I made using Stampin' Up's March 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit called May Good Things Grow.  Let's take a look:

My Card Base is Early Espresso Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding Card.

My Card Front Panel is the reverse side of the back of one of the Envelopes from the Kit.  (This is the piece that I set aside for a future project and that I die cut my Scalloped Oval out of from yesterday's projects that I posted on my blog).  I used the Largest Scalloped Oval die from Stampin' Up's Layering Ovals to die cut the opening.

I trimmed out a panel of Powder Pink Cardstock to measure 2-7/8" x 4-1/8" and adhered it to the back of the Oval opening with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I chose the Detailed die cut Label from the Kit to stamp my Sentiment on.  Using the May Good Things Grow Stamp Set, I inked up the Flower Stamp with Flirty Flamingo Ink, stamped it off once onto another piece of Cardstock and then stamped it onto the Label without re-inking.

I then stamped my Sentiment over the top of the Flower on the Label with Early Espresso Ink.

I adhered my Label to the Center Opening of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered my Card Front Panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered the two Flowers to the Card Front Panel with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.

I adhered one of the 3 Leaf die cuts on each opposite end of the Flowers with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the Stem only leaving the Leaves free of adhesive.

I adhered the Small two Leaf die cut in-between the Card Base and the Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I used my fingers to slightly curl some of the flower petals and the leaves to give them a little dimension.

I cut a length of the Whisper White  Baker's Twine from the kit, tied it into a small Bow and adhered it to the bottom of my Label with a tiny dab of Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered 3 Pearls from the kit onto the Card and the Bow as shown in the picture above.

I LOVE making Alternate Cards and Projects from Stampin' Up's Paper Pumpkin Kits and I just LOVE the Vintage look and feel of this kit.  So fun and so gorgeous!

Just a note:  Sale-A-Bration is almost over with so if you want the free items while supplies last with your orders, you may want to order soon!!!

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

  2. Pretty card, Lynn! Love the bright green stripes, reminds me of everything greening up right now. The pearls are the perfect touch too. I am sneezing as I type, the pollen is out here!
