Stampin' Up Oh So Succulent Card, Mini Vellum Gift Bag, Mini Album - I

It's cool out again today with full sun.  We are still 10 to 20 degrees below normal for our normal Spring weather.  It's supposed to warm up towards the end of the week.

The Eastern Palace Suite Bundles went live last week for all Customers to order.  This is something new that Stampin' Up is offering all Customers.  You can order on-line from me at www.stampinup.com and please choose me, Lynn Gauthier, as your Demonstrator.

Stampin' Up also restocked the Clearance Rack last week.  There's some awesome, awesome deals.

And, don't forget about the Retiring List of Products.

My share for today is a card that I made that was inspired by a card shown to us by Stampin' Up in a weekly update that Demonstrators receive from SU.  I changed a few things up; but, basically it's the same layout.

Let's take a look:

The picture above is the card that the SU Demonstrator or Designer made.

And, pictured above is the card that I made.  My Card Base is Mint Macaron Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4" for a top opening card.

Using Stampin Up's Oh So Succulent Stamp Set, I stamped the two smallest Succulents in the left hand corner of the Card Base.

I trimmed out the Sweet Sugarplum and Very Vanilla Checkered pattern from SU's Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper to measure 2" x 4-1/2" and adhered it to the front of my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Oh So Succulent Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Memento Black Ink.

I stamped my Succulents in Sweet Sugarplum, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide Inks onto Whisper White Cardstock as shown in my pictures.

Using SU's Succulent Framelits Dies, I die cut out all my stamped Succulents, two large Succulent dies from Fresh Fig Cardstock and one Spiky Succulent from Tranquil Tide Cardstock as shown in my pictures.

I adhered all the Succulents to my card as shown in the pictures with Mono Multi Purpose Glue except the two large Succulents.  The two large Succulents were adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I just can't believe that this suite of products is retiring.  It's been one of my very FAVE products and it makes me sad to see them go.

That's all I have for today.  I hope you enjoyed my blog post and thanks for stopping by!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

  1. I love the colors you chose for the succulents, Lynn! They look amazing together. It's so fun to see how the color changes the look of the card!
