My share for today is a Card that I CASE'd (Copy and Share Everything) from Stampin' Up's Occasions Catalog on page 25.  I don't have much experience with nautical themes so I thought I would start with one from the catalog.  I did change some things up; but, the layout is the same.  Stampin' Up's High Tide Stamp Set is being carried over to the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog also.

Let's take a look:

I absolutely LOVE the Light House and the Sentiments in Stampin' Up's High Tide Stamp Set.

I started out with one of Stampin' Up's new Very Vanilla Note Cards for my card base.

I first stamped the Sand stamp in Sahara Sand Ink and then the Water stamp twice staggering each color; once in Marina Mist and once in Island Indigo Ink.

I stamped the Light House twice; once in Read Red Ink with the Detailed Image stamp and then again over the top of the first stamp with the Solid Image in Smokey Slate Ink.

I then stamped the Light stamp in So Saffron Ink once on the top left of the Light House and once on the top right of the Light House.

I stamped the 3 Grass stamps in Old Olive Ink twice to give them a darker image.  You could use a darker green ink if you want so you don't have to stamp them twice; but, I love my Old Olive Ink.

I took the Sea Gull stamp and masked off the Largest Sea Gull with a Sticky Note and stamped the rest of the Sea Gulls in Chocolate Chip Ink.

I stamped my Sentiment in Marina Mist Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock.  I then trimmed out the Sentiment to create a Banner that measures 1-1/2" x 3" and flagged the bottom of the Banner.  Using the Sea Gull Stamp, I stamped the Largest Sea Gull in the very top Left corner of my Banner in Chocolate Chip Ink.  Again, I used a Sticky Note to mask off the other Sea Gulls.

Using SU's 5/8" Burlap Ribbon (which is also being carried over to the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog), I cut some threads from the Burlap Ribbon and tied them around the top of my Banner.  I adhered my Banner with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped the Large 3 Sea Gull stamp onto Very Vanilla Cardstock in Chocolate Chip Ink, fussy cut one of them out and adhered him to the bottom of my card with small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.

This was a fun, fun stamp set to work with and I can't wait to do some more with it.  I'm so glad that it will be available in the new catalog.

That's all I have for today.  I hope you enjoyed my blog post and thanks for stopping by!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
