Easter Message Card for Stampin' Up

It rained last night and it's cooled off some this morning with cloudy skies.  We have a lot of flooding advisories out in some of the surrounding areas.  I'm looking forward to some promised sunny skies tomorrow and a little yard work.

My share for today is an Easter Card using Stampin' Up's Easter Message and Kind of Eclectic Stamp Sets and Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.

Let's take a look:

My Card Base is Stampin' Up's Shimmery White Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4" for a side opening card.

My Card Front Panel is also Shimmery White Cardstock cut at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".

Using SU's Easter Message Stamp Set, I stamped the Cross, 3 Palms, a Lily and my Sentiment onto Shimmery White Cardstock.

Using my SU Aqua Painter brush, I water colored the Cross in Soft Suede Ink, the Cloth in Perfect Plum Ink, the Rope in Crumb Cake Ink, the Palms in Old Olive Ink and the Lily in So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive Ink.

Using My SU Snips, I fussy cut out the Cross and the 3 Palms.

I centered the Cross on my Card Front Panel and lightly drew a cross line underneath with a pencil.  I removed the Cross and very lightly sponged SU's Soft Sky Ink around where the Cross is to be placed.  It's really hard to see in the picture.

Using SU's Kind of Eclectic Stamp Set, I stamped the Sun Rays in So Saffron Ink by stamping off once onto scrap paper and then onto my Card Front Panel just below the top of where the Cross is to be placed.

I adhered the 3 Palms towards the bottom of the Cross with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I brushed on some Wink of Stella on the Cloth to give it a light glittery shine and then adhered the Cross to my Card Front Panel and the Card Front Panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside of my Card; Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Lily and the Sentiment.

I trimmed off 3 sides of the Large Oval with the Lily as shown in the picture below.  I thought it reminded me of the stained glass windows in our church.

I adhered both Ovals to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!
