Stampin' Up Bunny Buddies Paper Pumpkin, Easter Message, Layering Ovals - Alternate Easter Bunny/Cat Mini Ghirardelli Treat Holder

What a gorgeous, gorgeous weekend.  A little too windy, again; but, beautiful with full sun.  The leaves started to open up on the trees Saturday and are coming on quickly now.  It's already in the 70's for early morning.  Keep in coming!!!

Stampin' Up's Retiring List for the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog and the 2017 Holiday Catalog will be posted on SU's website after 3:00PM Eastern time today!  Don't miss out on retiring products as they will go fast...and...once they are gone, they are gone for good!

My share for today is a 3D Mini Ghirardelli Treat Holder that I designed using the 3" x 3" Very Vanilla Envelope from Stampin' Up's March 2017 Bunny Buddies Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Let's take a look:

Too funny!  Now, does my Treat Holder look like an Easter Bunny or a Cat with BIG ears???  Please leave me a comment and tell me which one it looks like to you.

I started out with the 3" x 3" Very Vanilla Envelope from the March 2017 Bunny Buddies Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut the 3-1/2" Scalloped Oval from Peekaboo Peach Cardstock.  I trimmed off a portion from the top long end of the Oval and adhered it to my Envelope Flap with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I die cut two Small Ovals; the 1-3/4" Oval from Dapper Denim Cardstock and the 2" Oval from Very Vanilla Cardstock.  I cut each Oval in half and adhered them together and to the Peekaboo Peach Oval on my Envelope with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the Dapper Denim Pompoms for the Eye's with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  (Tip-place a dab of the glue where you want the Pompoms to go and let it stand till it gets tacky, then adhere your Pompoms.)  I adhered the Sweet Sugarplum Pompom for the Nose.

Using my SU Handheld 1/4" Circle Punch, I punched two Circles from Basic Black Cardstock.  Using my Signo White Gel Pen, I colored in white dots for the Eye's.  After they were dry, I adhered them to the Dapper Denim Pompoms with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I trimmed out some very, very skinny pieces of Basic Black Cardstock and adhered them on each side of the Sweet Sugarplum Pompom Nose with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and trimmed the ends for the Whiskers.

Using SU's Easter Message Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment on the bottom portion of the Envelope with Basic Black Archival Ink.

I used a Velcro Adhesive Dot for the closure on the Envelope.  I stuck the two adhesive pieces together and then adhered it on the under side of the flap pretty much even with the Nose on the top of the Envelope.

I then closed my Envelope which adhered the bottom Velcro Closure just above the Sentiment.

I fussy cut out the Large Ear Stickers from the Paper Pumpkin Bunny Buddies Kit and adhered them to the back side of the Envelope with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Now, just add your treat to the inside, close it up and give it away to Family and Friends!

Please leave me a comment if you think my Treat Holder is an Easter Bunny or a Cat with Large Ears!!!  =)

I hope your Easter is full of lots of Bunnies (or Cats - Mainly Chocolate) and lots of Blessings!  =)
