Stampin' Up Eastern Palace, Eastern Beauty, Eastern Medallions Sneak Peek - I

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend!!

I am so LOVIN' this warmer weather and all the sunshine.  It eases the pain of my Osteo Arthritis except when the storms move through or I've over done it like I did this Easter Weekend doing a lot of yard work.  And, all that fresh air really poohed me out!  I struggled to stay awake yesterday and the much needed sleep got the better of me!  =)

Anyways, how about a Sneak Peek of Stampin' Up's new Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper, Eastern Beauty Stamp Set and Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies.  I also have a Sneak Peek of the new Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers (AMAZING) and one of the new 2017-2018 In Colors called Fresh Fig.

Let's take a look:

I've seen all of the new Stampin' Up 2017-2018 In-Colors and I think this Fresh Fig is my one of my FAVE's.  It reminds me of the Retired Blackberry Bliss only a little lighter.  It's so pretty so I made it the center of attention on my Card along with a little Dapper Denim.

My Card Base is Very Vanilla Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4" for a top opening card.

I chose my piece of the new SU Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper and trimmed it out to measure 2-7/8" x 5-1/2" and adhered it to the top of my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I trimmed out a piece of Dapper Denim Cardstock to measure 2-1/4" x 5-1/2" and adhered it below my DSP piece with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

(The coordinating colors for the Eastern Palace Specialty DSP are Dapper Denim, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide and Very Vanilla.)

Using SU's new Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Flower Medallion Die from Fresh Fig Cardstock and popped up each Petal and gave them a slight curl.

Using SU's Layering Circles Framelits Dies, I die cut a Circle from SU's Gold Foil Sheet and adhered the Fresh Fig Flower Medallion on top with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  I LOVE how the Gold Foil shows through in each Petal.

I then Die Cut the Four Point Medallion from Dapper Denim Cardstock.

I adhered one of the new Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers to the center Medallion.  I popped up each Point and gave them a little curl.   These stickers sure add a WOW FACTOR to the Medallions and are very high quality as they are Vinyl.

I adhered the Dapper Denim Medallion to the Fresh Fig Medallion and to my strip of Dapper Denim with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I also die cut some of the little designs from Gold Foil Sheet and adhered them to the Dapper Denim piece with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

For the inside of my Card; Using SU's new Eastern Beauty Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment and the little design in Dapper Denim Ink to the inside of my Card.

I have a feeling that the Eastern Palace Suite is going to be one of my very FAVE Suites from SU's new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  1. Super fun card, Lynn! I love how you used the sticker on top of the die, great treatment. The colors are so pretty together. I like that sweet sentiment on the inside too!
