Stampin' Up Adoring Arrows January 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Alternate Valentine's Project - Pop of Pink, Love Notes, Sweet & Sassy Hearts V

It's been trying to spit snow off and on all morning!  I had to call our Road Commission today to see if they could do something with our road.  We haven't received mail in 3 days now as the snow melt down made our road a soupy mess with some awful ruts in it.  Hopefully, the Road Commission can come out and try to do something to make the road passable again.  Thank goodness for 4 Wheel Drive Trucks!

My share for today is some Valentine's that I designed with some dollar store treats attached to them with mini wood clothespins.  The Stampin' Up products that I used are Adoring Arrows Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set, Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper, Sweet & Sassy Hearts and Love Notes Framelits Dies, Confetti Heart Border Punch, Metallic Foil Doilies and Baker's Twine.

Let's take a look:

Aren't they cute!!!  I'm really happy with the way my Valentine's turned out!  These are great for the Kids to help make and to hand out to their buddies on Valentine's Day!

This is also a great project to use up a lot of scraps of Designer Series Paper and Cardstock.  I used Stampin' Up's Pop of Pink Specialty DSP.  The 'Specialty' for the Pop of Pink DSP means that it has 2 special single-sided sheets of paper with gold foil designs on them.

The Cardstocks that I used are Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo and Whisper White.

My Card Bases are cut at 3" x 4".

My Card Front Panels are cut at 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" and adhered to my Card Bases with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

For the 2 Front Panels on the right:
I cut the first Panel at 2" x 2-1/2" and the second panel at 1-3/4" x 2-1/4".  These were adhered on the right side of the Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered one of SU's Silver or Gold Metallic Doilies to each Right Side Card Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue in the Center of the Doily only.

Using SU's Sweet & Sassy Hearts Framelits Dies, I die cut 2 Hearts for each card.

Using SU's Love Notes Framelits Dies, I die cut one Arrow for each card.

Using SU's Adoring Arrows Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiments and Hearts in Melon Mambo Ink on the Small Hearts.

I adhered an Arrow to the back of each Small Heart and then adhered both Hearts to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up retired the Mini Wood Clothespins; but, you can find them at your local craft store or you could use Stampin' Up's Gold Binder Clips.  I was able to purchase some of the clothespins on SU's Clearance Rack; but, I see that they are all gone now.

I embellished my clothespins by trimming out small pieces of DSP and Cardstock at just shy of 5/8" in width and 1-3/8" in length and adhered them to the clothespins with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Confetti Heart Border Punch, I punched out the Hearts and adhered them to the clothespins with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the above pictures.

I tied Bows with SU's Thick Baker's Twine in Melon Mambo and Whisper White and adhered them to the Mini Wood Clothespins with a dab of Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  I tied a double Bow using SU's Solid Baker's Twine in Blushing Bride.

I purchased a bag of the Gummy Hearts at my local dollar store.  I attached one Gummy Heart with the Clothespin and then attached it to my Cards.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!
