Tutti-Fruitti, We Must Celebrate, Party Hat Birthday, Bird Banter, Fruit Basket, Flying Home, Foxy Friends, Picnic Basket Builder, Layering Ovals, Stitched Shapes, Punches - Birthday Card

Wowzers!!!  Our high today is 7 and the winds are just bitter cold and go right through you.  The weather report stated that within 15 minutes of being outside that you could get frost bite.  This is just crazy and tomorrow is supposed to be worse.

My e-mail is not working right now.  Maybe it got frost bite!  😞😞😞

My Good Friend and Fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Kadie, had a challenge over the weekend for her Downlines to create a Birthday Card.  I'm so honored that is such a Good Friend and that Kadie "adopted" me into her Downline group.  Here is the Birthday Card that I designed for Kadie's challenge:

Well, you all must know by now how much I LOVE animals and nature.  I used several of Stampin' Up's new Occasions Catalog Stamp Sets, some new Punches and Dies and some Punches and Dies from the Annual Catalog.  It will be another challenge for me to remember everything I used to make this Card!  😊😊😊

My Card Base is from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure called Tutti-Fruitti Cards & Envelopes.  Such fun colors of 16 Card Bases and Envelopes and I just LOVE them!

My Card Front Panel is Whisper White Cardstock cut at 3-3/4" x approximately 4-1/2".

Using SU's Picnic Basket Builder Framelits Dies, I die cut 4 of the Grass Dies and 3 of the Grass Tufts from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock.  I layered and adhered the die cuts with Mono Multi Purpose Glue starting about 1-1/4" up from the bottom of my Card Front Panel.  ( Only put the Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the bottom of the Grass Die Cuts and leave the tops free of adhesive so you can tuck the Grass Tufts and Animals behind the Grass Die Cuts. )

Using SU's new We Must Celebrate Stamp Set, I stamped the Animals and Snail onto Shimmery White Cardstock with Black Memento Ink.

I colored my Animals with my Stampin' Blends Markers in Light and Dark Smokey Slate and Pink Pirouette for the Raccoon, Light and Dark Crumb Cake and Pink Pirouette for the Bear and Snail and Light and Dark Pink Pirouette for the Bunny.  I colored the Snail in Light and Dark Crumb Cake and the Squirrel in Light and Dark Crumb Cake and Pink Pirouette ( for the inside of my Card ).

Using SU's new Flying Home Stamp Set, I stamped the Birds, Butterflies and the Bee onto Shimmery White Cardstock with Black Memento Ink.

I colored the Birds in Light and Dark Pool Party and Daffodil Delight, the Bee in Daffodil Delight and Wink of Stella on their Wings and the Butterflies in Light Pumpkin Pie.  I also used my Stampin' Write Markers in Lemon Lime Twist and Basic Black for the Butterflies.

Using SU's new Party Hat Birthday Stamp Set, I stamped the Hat in Sweet Sugarplum and the Present in Wisteria Wonder.

I colored the Trim and Tassel on the Party Hat with my Stampin' Write Marker in Lemon Lime Twist.

I colored the Present with my Stampin' Write Markers in Wisteria Wonder and Lemon Lime Twist as shown in the picture above.

I fussy cut out all the Animals, Snail, Party Hat and Present with my SU snips.

Using SU's new Bird Banter Stamp Set, I stamped Happy Birthday onto a scrap of Pool Party Cardstock with Basic Black Archival Ink and punched it out with SU's Classic Label Punch.  I turned the punch over so I was looking at the bottom of the punch, put the Label back in the punch and punched off both ends to make a shorter Label.

I folded the Bears paws down a little bit and adhered the Label with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.  I did the same with the Bunny and the Present.

I adhered the Hat on the Raccoon with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Balloon Bouquet Punch, I punched the Small Balloon from SU's Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper in Lemon Lime Twist with the White Diamonds Pattern.

Using SU's new Silver Baker's Twine, I cut a length and tied it around the Raccoons arm and adhered it to the back of the Balloon with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I tied another length into a tiny Bow and adhered it to the Raccoons arm with a dab of Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the Bear behind the top layer of Grass with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the Raccoon and the Bunny with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the bottoms and Stampin' Dimensionals on the tops as shown in the picture above.

I adhered the Balloon and one Butterfly, one Bird and the Bee with Stampin' Dimensionals and the second Butterfly and Bird with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's new 1-3/8" Scalloped Circle Punch, I punched a Scalloped Circle from Crushed Curry Cardstock.

Using SU's new 1-1/8" Scalloped Circle Punch, I punched a Scalloped Circle from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock.

Using SU's Foxy Friends Stamp Set, I stamped one of the Faces onto the Pumpkin Pie Circle in Basic Black Archival Ink.

Using SU's Fruit Basket Stamp Set, I masked off the top of the Rind stamp and stamped it onto the Pumpkin Pie Circle in Basic Black Archival Ink for a Smile.

I adhered the two Circles together and onto my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut an Oval from SU's Eastern Palace DSP in Lemon Lime Twist with White Diamonds pattern.

Using SU's Stitched Shapes, I die cut an Oval from Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's We Must Celebrate Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink onto the White Oval.

I adhered the two Ovals together and to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the Squirrel and the Snail with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

Yes - This card was a lot of work; but, oh so worth it!!!

Phew!!!  That was a long write up.  For those who stuck with me to the end, thanks for stopping by my blog.  😊😊😊
